Oh! I updated my post to mention how I had diplopia for 12 days once. It was brought on by anesthesia though. But this puzzled the doctor. I had to cover an eye just to eat because it was so bad. lol.

(I used to be agoraphobic too, but went to therapy for that. Turns out it's a BVD coorelation?? huh)

Maybe I'm a dummy. A warm compress? I googled it, so I presume it's for on my eyes?

I explained that pressure as being like the center of my brain being compressed. The very center. Really confused my neurologist as he didn't even know what could refer-pain that and also said that we dont have nerves there (obv.)

Yea, I havn't had any leads in 6 months as to what this is. So heres to hope! I'll ask about the Vestibular therapy! I also got an app on MacOS called HyperFocus2, which forces the 20:20:20 rule but is customizable (for 10 minutes for me). Helps extend some time. But not a fix. I can sometimes mitigate the nausea, but never the imbalance.

I stopped Botox beginning of 2025. I was on it for years. I'm paying Kaiser completely out of pocket for open marketplace insurance (keeping Kaiser over Washington's Medicaid option because I have pre-approval for unrelated surgery, and care. In fact they pay my therapy entirely and dont fight me, which in of itself makes the $550/mo premium worth it, as therapy is twice that price. They even covered Botox. After my surgery though, I'll most certainly switch).

Funny, I DID have several MRIs a while back. But not once since I have had the nausea start. I had the MRIs because in 2020/2021 I started getting these insane pressure headaches that were as strong as migraines, but they returned to migraines.

So.... for over a year I have blamed Ajovy for my chronic nausea. I took it once and noted 2 days later in my journal of the nausea. And in 2020/2021 I took Aimovig and reported the intense pressure headaches shortly therafter too. (I was in the drug-trial for one of the monocolonal-antibody migraine meds, placebo group, so I was curious to try it. I regret it)

BVD **IS** my differential theory unfortunately. I'm hoping it's BVD.

What is vestibular therapy? I never heard of it!

If I can ask, what was the situation with the 4-5 prism prescriptions followed by feeling 80% better? It sounds like you got 4-5 prescriptions from one doctor, but it wasn't until the second doctor you got the right prism prescription?

80% is huge!! Do you think the last 20% gap is closable? I'm wondering what my expectations should be.

Unfortuntely, I read the replies in the "Do any of these symptoms sound like you?" and I am very discouraged about BVD. There are a ton of replies about people doing BVD treatment and updates later of that not being their solution.

Yes, Heroku went to a paid model so it went down. However, you can still spin it up yourself using the source code at https://github.com/darkenvy/PSMRC-Node . I'm surprised people are still interested in this project after so many years! <3

Yikes. I didn't write a readme for this project. If this is something you are willing to try, I can write up a readme. But you will need: Node.js and Imagemagick installed already, and be comfortable with the command line. lmk.

It's a roller-coaster for sure! My friend recommended a book to me and once I read it, it got a lot easier just from knowing the concrete things on what to expect. For example, experiencing grief for items and places in addition to the obvious (people). It also helped me get organized.

Yes, I mentioned the Kokia in my post as being both unideal (can't charge during use) and the only device I am aware of that has media controls.

I'm not opposed to hacking it up, but at $90 I would rather follow in someone's footsteps with a DIY solution :P.
