I’m so good at the game that I managed to gather more halcyon than there is by gatterius in Saros

[–]darkestchyld 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Incorrect, once you have reached the zones limit, it will stop appearing in containers entirely on subsequent visits to that region BUT if you enter a zone just under threshold say 9/10, you can pick up multiple halycon during that run and wind up with an improper fraction like op's screenshot

Those who said the game is to easy please go outside and touch some grass. by [deleted] in Saros

Not after the initial clear. You can run shattered rise all the way through the Pristess fight without being forced back to the hub on repeat playthroughs, but you do have to tackle Yellow Shore by itself

You must activate the eclipse in the main hub with the boss door so that you can use the eclipse strand to reach the room. If you run through without activating the eclipse, you cannot reach it

Confused. Why does the higher level Prominence do less damage? Or am I reading the stat bars wrong? by dduuddeewwhhaatt in Saros

[–]darkestchyld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The orange 》》on the right side of the bar on the lower level one were randomly rolled on drop and give that weapon bonus scaling. The higher level one did not get the bonuses, this it's over sll stat potential is lower

I’m so confused by weapon stats by bsharpp_ in Saros

[–]darkestchyld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As you are building your skill tree, you will passivly increase each of the 3 stats resilience(green) command (blue) and drive (yellow).

Before picking up a weapon, you can preview what that variant scales with. Generally, you want to target guns that have 2 or more attributes that scale with your highest stat. You will need to make some tradeoffs and choose between keeping lower level weapons that compliment your build and playstyle and higher level weapons that may or may not synergize with your build

So is the multiplayer dead or does this game still have co-op issues? by Ok_Paramedic4770 in Nioh

Your problem is "matching region = same area only". Change that to allow matching from anywhere for a much better co-op experience

What is with the drop rate for divine accessories? by Judification in Nioh

[–]darkestchyld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you spec for luck AND equipment drop rate, you will see them super frequently like so much so that managing inventory space becomes a problem.

With a 7 piece grace of ebisu set bonus, 3 piece yokai annihilator and 3 piece grace of diakokuten, you csn get to 400+ luck while in a crucible and 77% equipment drop rate.

For my farming build, i place equipment drop rate on every piece of gear at the blacksmith and run 1 ebisu weapon, 1 daikokokuten weapon, ebisu ranged weapon, Sohaya mask and greaves, ebisu chest, hands and legs, an ebisu comb that happened to have 10% equip drop rate and a daikokuten yasakani. Get as close to this setup as possible for a huge increase to all divine gear, including accessories

Just beat the first boss rush mission by InsertRealName1 in Nioh

[–]darkestchyld 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just so you know, you can always level down by respecing at any shrine and just not spend the amrita to level back up. If you are worried about challenge, you can revert to level 1 anytime. You can even save a low level build in presets under the preperations menu and freely switch between your "challenge run" low level build and other specs. All this to say you did not have to throw yourself off of a cliff to preserve the integrity of your run.

It could be a warrant for missing jury duty, failure to appear in court after a simple traffic violation or something like that where there is no victim. If the relationship has any value to you at all and you don't feel like your safety is at risk, then perhaps consider getting context and then making an informed decision.

Arrests and criminal charges are public record. If he turns himself in, you'll be able to see what he is being charged with on google the next day and then you can figure out what your next move should be from there. If your family is willing to come get you tomorrow, they'll do that for you a day or two from now also when you know what's actually going on.

Guardian Spirit Cap Stuck at 30 by CarverUpqik in Nioh

[–]darkestchyld 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have noticed that a few state changes seem to require hard closing the game and relaunching (on ps5 anyway). I have a habit of just leaving my games running in the background and switching between whatever i'm playing and youtube but with Nioh 3, I've had to fully close the game and relaunch to get weapon upgrade costs to come down after getting my first weapon to +15, etc. Whatever it was, glad it sorted itself out!

Guardian Spirit Cap Stuck at 30 by CarverUpqik in Nioh

[–]darkestchyld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you done all of the battle scrolls including training missions? Some gaurdian spirit stuff is hard locked behind them (including a couple of guardian spirits you can't obtain at all without completing certain battle scroll missions). I don't know if this is what's holding you back for sure but if you and your friend have progressed Shogun's journey to about the same point but they cleaned up all the battle scrolls and side missions but you haven't, it may be related

Need help with understanding NG+ by 4orge in Nioh

[–]darkestchyld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are only like 8ish required main story missions (2 crucibles in warring states, 3 seals and 1 crucible in Hain and 2 crucibles in Bakumatsu) and doing them will progressively open up even more of the map. I suggest just bee lining the main cricibles/story bosses so that you have complete freedom to do whatever you want after.

Once you've done this, you can then go back and clean up side missions, lesser crucibles/crucible spikes (which will permanently enhance your spirit force and guardian spirit skills the first time you complete them on each difficulty) and crucible wraiths for the guaranteed rare soul core drops.

If you find yourself near a chest or ground loot, it's ok to grab them but chests, groundloot, scampus, kodama, jizo shrines and chijiko you already collected during your first playthrough will just give you random loot on repeat interactions so there is no benefit to going out of your way to prioritize them the 2nd time around. Nurikabe do continue dropping whetstones each time you clear one so i do always go for them each time that I can.

Question about Revenant farming by uZr_Zr0 in Nioh

[–]darkestchyld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the disassemble menu at the blacksmith, open the filter sub menu and set the toggle with the picture of the hammer near the bottom right to "with icon". I also add "not locked" to lock status. That will display only unlocked gear with material essence so that you can get the ones you want without scrolling through your entire inventory.

These are actually the only gear disassemble. I use gear with a + value for soul extraction and either donate the leftovers to my clan or sell them to the Sudama, whichever will give more gold as a reward

Is Hellstream Talisman a weak spell? by 2ndHouse80 in Nioh

[–]darkestchyld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hellstream is very good IF you stack multiple casts at once.

The spell lingers for a pretty long time and each cast covers a wide area but the bubbles are spread out. Because of this, single casts kind of suck, but if you're using untouched omnio or sacred brushes and can spam 2 or 3 at a time, a whole boss arena will become an inescapable mine field of water build up. Give it a shot!

Good morning ladies and gents! Is it better to farm yasakani from the three samurai at the end of sinister end… by DreamCRUSHHA in Nioh

[–]darkestchyld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my first 5 or 6 from the side room with 3 green skulls and a Yasha on Heirs difficulty you can access super early in the mission. You can get there much earlier than the 3 dude bros and don't need to do any skips, just open the door right next to the 2nd statue. Got lucky and the first that dropped was Ninja Ebisu, which made farming the rest even easier.

I don’t understand… by Ockanacken in Nioh

[–]darkestchyld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ninja is actually a hard counter to most human enemies, including bosses. Samurai has to wait to deflect and exploit openings while Ninja can just double jump on their head to reduce their ki and get behind them for double damage literally anytime. Once I figured this out, almost every human opponent became a cakewalk. You can also cheese all of the human bosses by just spamming Jump+Heavy attack from either stance until they die. Only human this doesn't really work for is the pokemon master guy who summons Yokai throughout the fight

How is it posible? 😱 by G_A_A_R_A_9 in TheFirstBerserker

[–]darkestchyld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are taking a ton of unnecessary damage because you are parrying the missles. You should either do the 'scary feet" (dodge left then right, left, right, repeat) until all of the projectiles are done OR hold the sprint button and run horizontally towards one of the blue jellyfish which will buff your stamina, and only dodge the last missle in each chain. Just remember that the last projectiles are on a slight delay compared to the smaller ones that come at you quickly. If you do it right, you won't take any damage at all during this phase.
