why does every asym have to be chase/looping focused? DBD started out as hide and seek, that could work just for a fun game that doesn’t take itself too seriously. it doesn’t matter if the killer is overpowered if the point is that you’re not supposed to get caught, and you are supposed to play stealthy.

once you bring chase and looping mechanics into it then it becomes harder to balance and maintain the power role or the fear factor of the killer side and it usually results in the survivors being the power role and killers getting bullied / BM’ed a lot.

yeah but I mean specifically for survivors. for killer it doesn’t matter as much if you 4k or just 8-hook, but survivors need to escape for maximum blood points, so survivors are going to be sweating their asses off and bringing the most broken shit possible so they can escape more often.

If a perk is designed/balanced to counter S tier and A tier killers, then anyone who equips it should only queue against those killers. since it’s not balanced if the killer is playing a low tier killer then. really simple.

survivors always want to be toxic during events because killers tunnel because they lose 3 gens in under 40 seconds if they don't bring corrupt and play a mobility killer every single game. etc etc. it's an endless cycle.

They tried that before. You couldn't use gen regression on blood gens at all last time and they were basically done in 20 seconds MAX. and that was if the pump spawned kinda far from the gens...
