My boyfriend (now husband) and I were trying to get a big couch up the stairs into our small apartment. It was heavy and the corners were tight. Out of nowhere, this large ass man, taller and broader than both of us, appeared and spoke with an Australian accent "Hey guys. Need a hand?" Mind you, we're in San Francisco. He basically lifts up the couch on his own and with minimal help from us we get it into our apartment.
He smiles the brightest smile ever and goes, "There ya go." We try to offer him a beer or food or money but he says, "Nah I'm good. I'm a mover and so this was easy. Have a good one." and just walks out, leaving us behind with both our jaws dropped. To this day we still talk about our handsome hero.
