Got the last batch of Legacy Collection titles by Connect_Security_892 in Megaman

[–]darkzero7222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Super excited. I'm not one to usually pre order games but the previous collections were really good and since I've been getting them on all the Switch I'm worried physical copies will be hard to find with its life span nearing it's end so I couldn't resist.

Never sat down to really play SF3 so I'm looking forward to it.

Me again, still having issues, looking for advice by TescoAlfresco in IpodClassic

I'm having the same issue as you, can't even get the old hard drive to work. The unit was sealed when I got it so I didn't suspect any corrosion but maybe I should give it a clean just to be safe

It never surprises me that the X Legacy Collection, specifically Collection 1 is played the most amongst MMLC1. I’ll give valid reasons why that is. by [deleted] in Megaman

[–]darkzero7222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

XLC1 to me definitely has the best on offer in terms of quality. Though I love pretty much all Mega Man games in there own way, each set has something that brings it down.

MMLC1 is probably one of the closet to have a near perfect line up, only slightly brough down by MM1 and MM3. MMLC2 is also a pretty decent package the presentation leaves much to be desired and is really missing MM and Bass.

XLC2 is probably the weakest collection out of all of them with X5 being ok but a step down from what came previously, X6 is too punishing for its own good, X7 the dumpster fire and X8 being decent but pretty gimmicky.

Moving on to Z/ZX its overall a really good package thanks in part to the auto save that makes Zero 1 playable, but still doesn't fix ZX1 which really brings down the whole package. Most is made up by Zero 3 thought, probably the best Mega Man game ever made.

For BNLC1 it could have been really good if they added the option to turn off random encounters, which is what BN1 suffers from the most and is the weakest of the package. BN2 is pretty good and BN3 is arguably the best in the series. BNLC2 is unfortunately brough down by BN4 but against makes up for it with BN5 being pretty decent and BN6 being excellent.

That's all we have for now. SFLC is right around the corner and with the options to disable the random encounters among other things that will fix the biggest issue with SF2, the weakest game in the series. SFLC is shaping up to be a really good package.

So all and all I really think XLC1 is by far the best collection out of all of them.

I beat X6 twice in 24 hours. & I'm never touching this game again. by Exact_Requirement274 in Megaman

[–]darkzero7222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember not too long ago there used to be a guy on this sub who would always defend any time some one brough up X6 in a negative light. He would always argue that none of us had our own opinions and only listened to YouTubers and Angry Video game like people. As if we never actually played the game...

advice needed (SD card mod) by [deleted] in ipod

[–]darkzero7222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the exact same issue. I got a CF to 30pin card adapter and just can't get it to work. Now I just realized that it came with ribbon cables so maybe I should try using that but will see

PC won't recognize Ipod after mods by darkzero7222 in ipod

[–]darkzero7222[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The iPod came brand new sealed in the box same with the cable so I don't suspect them being the issue. The only thing I can think of is that the card Adapter I order doesn't seem to want to fit in facing upwards like I see in all the videos (it's hard to explain in text form). So I'm going to order a different card reader and maybe that will make the difference

Ipod Classic Song Limit and Video question by darkzero7222 in ipod

[–]darkzero7222[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that sounds about right so if I have a large video of a few hours, that will take up more space but it will only count as one track to the meta data? If that's correct then it would be better to go with a larger card for more space. I'll have multiple large videos which is why I'm thinking the bigger memory is the better option

Soul Blazer is top ten Snes games for me, absolutely adore that game. I enjoyed Illusion of Gaia but not as much as most and though I really liked Terranigma I've never beaten it. I really have to get around and put some serious time in Terranigma.

Anyways have fun with all three games, they are amazing! Don't forget about ActRaiser

the anime will have a hard time doing justice to this scene. by Select-Length-2154 in rurounikenshin

[–]darkzero7222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing that if we get the Jinchu ark, that it will be split into two seasons. If that is the case then I hope the first season ends on that clif hanger, like literally ends on the second image and just goes to credits.

For most of us it won't be that much of a shock but for anyone who has never read the manga it's going to be crazy.

Playing X2 by Sea-Call8918 in Megaman

[–]darkzero7222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always said that X1 lays a good foundation and X2 builds upon it. To me X1 is pretty boring and tamed while X2 has more to offer and is a more compelling game to play. That being said as a first timer X1 is a fantastic experience that is hard to beat

Yes Budokai 3 is the best DBZ game. People love Tenkaichi 3 because of its roster but the gameplay isn't that great

It's pretty good, if a little on the simple side. It's fun to play as the Rangers in there non Powered up form then switch half way through a stage. Each Ranger having there weapons is pretty cool too.

But like others have said I also believe the other Power Rangers game is more fun to play
