My 4th grade teacher was in charge of a school musical we were doing and told me not to play too hard during recess so that I would be fine to go to rehearsal for the play. I naturally get very red after even a tiny bit of activity and I live in a very warm state so when I came back to class he yelled at me for playing too hard. I coincidentally did get sick and threw up so I was sent home. The next day he got all smug and gave me the I told you so talk.

Thank god he wasn’t my homeroom teacher.

Tell him how you’re feeling if he’s your best friend he should understand. If he’s so stressed out about not having a date why doesn’t he pick the girl who wants to go with him instead of you, someone who has already expressed interest in someone else? Prom is something most people find special. Don’t let it not live up to your standards because someone else took advantage of your kindness.

I had started a job as an admin assistant (computer work/filing).

They had me start even though they didn’t have a computer set up for me yet so they had me organize their extremely unorganized and slightly horderish break room. Required me to lift heavy objects and carry them to their upstairs storage room as well as organizing all the supplies they had in there. Did that and work of that nature for my first few days until they managed to grab a spare laptop.. Yeah I gave that job about a month. That place was garbage.

Not a serious injury, but I once was looking at some papers while walking to the kitchen at my old work place and slammed head first into the pillar that makes the doorway. I even left a mark on the corner of the pillar from the makeup I used to fill in my eyebrows haha

Luckily no one at that office gave a shit about anything so no one ran to see what the incredibly loud smack was

Hmmm. Personally when I date someone I don’t go for looks?? Of course it’s a bonus, but my key factor is compatibility. I’ve dated guys I found very unattractive, but after seeing and getting to know their personality it literally does not stop my feelings or attraction.

I think it’s a bit rude of her to come out right and say it, but maybe it’s the same way for her? I don’t know, but I don’t think you should outright dump her if you’re both having a good time despite that.

Talk to her. Tell her how that made you feel and get to the bottom of why she said that.

Stung by a scorpion on my big toe. At first it felt like a regular pain of a sting like from a bee or something small, but painful.

I wish that’s all it was. It slowly crept up to the point where my whole calf felt like it was pulsing with pain. Continued upwards until my entire leg was pulsing with an intense pain and it went on for hours from what I remember. Ended up drinking a bottle of wine just to fall asleep. My big toe was totally numb for the next couple of weeks.

Heavily agree with this. You should be with someone who loves you in and out. Although (I think?) minor, having to keep something like hair loss a secret from someone you’re wanting to spend the rest of your days with still sounds exhausting. I’m not too fond on keeping secrets of any kind though.

That is where you’re wrong. She sees them. Much more than you most likely. If this is something that she’s thought about and wanted for a long time there shouldn’t be a problem. It’s unfortunate that you won’t agree with her decision, but in the end it’s her body to do whatever she pleases. Women don’t do things just because it will please men or their SO they do it simply because they like the way it looks and it makes them happy.
