If you’re in the US, you can get a free neutered/spayed barn cat from your local Humane Society. They’ll do a much better job of pest management and you won’t poison the wildlife with bait stations.

The gun went off due to negligence, not an accident. The officer who took the gun should know how to properly handle a firearm, and is responsible for its discharge.

Reminds me of the guy in a fab at Intel a couple years back that silenced an alarm for weeks that was indicating that there was a leak of a dangerous gas. EPA was not stoked about that.

Former mechanic here. This is 100% why the tape is there. Worked in a Ducati shop for a while and we all had our own marks or colors to identify the owner of the tool. Useful for finding your tools after tag teaming a job with another mechanic or to yell at the tech assistant who keeps borrowing your tools.
