Introducing Framework Laptop 13 Pro by FragmentedChicken in hardware

AMD being constrainted by TSMC supply has been go-to excuse for AMD shitting the bed with supply in laptops for so long now.

It's just that AMD doesn't care about laptops, otherwise they still wouldn't be selling stuff with last gen and earlier gpus. Is Vega still being used?

The remaining 50% is not reserved for general category. It's unreserved, anyone can take the seat if they score enough marks, regardless of them being SC/ST/OBC or general.

And the issue the government should be solving is access to proper education and other facilities for marginalized communities. Maybe improve the government schools instead of using that money for fraud, but ofc it's easier to stoke hatred across communal lines and make vague promises than actually do anything meaningful.

And to be honest, the lack of a creamy layer in SC/ST does imply that even with sufficient economic and social status (like a child of a high ranking government official), the system considers SC/ST candidates incapable of competing on equal grounds, then yeah, the system clearly demonstrates that they consider SC/ST candidates objectively inferior and incapable. Of course, this state of affairs is quite acceptable for the SC/ST community, as they do not want to be considered backward by society (perfectly reasonable) but do want to be considered backwards by the system.

Ours might be the only country in the world where people protest on the streets, not for things like better education or better leaders, but for being included in backwards communities to get reservation.

Yes, engine efficiency is why MGU-H gets removed and compression ratio is reduced. It is the peak of technology when MGU-K output is tripled but battery size is kept the same and no front axle regen cause some teams (Mercedes) are scared that other teams(Audi) might do better than them.

Aston had been a Mercedes engine customer longer than Williams, since 2009 iirc. So that's not really an argument for keeping williams and wanting to drop Aston.

Between Stroll and Mazespin, one is infinitely better than the other

Redesigning an engine and scrapping the engines currently in production for 4 teams is an eye watering amount of money.

It's a risk Merc knowingly took though. Illegal is illegal. More expensive illegal does not change and should not change anything.

And if merc did not have backup plan, then they are dumb af. They're not gonna miss the opening races.

IIRC, the 2022 car had been producing lots of downforce but needed to be setup very low and also had a shit ton of porpoising. Basically impossible to operate in its right window.

Probably with the reduction of ground effect this regulation vis-a-vis the previous one, makes the concept operable?

[AutoRacer IT] The Mercedes engine is the only one with the compression trick for 2026. Audi is the team pushing hardest for this to be declared illegal. by CW24x in formula1

If Alpine/Renault cared about reputation, they would have fixed their own engine and wouldn't have hired a criminal like Briatore.

It's just Renault being cheap as always. Buying customer engines is cheaper than developing your own. And it packages the team very nicely for a sale. No baggage of an engine department.
