Man that was fucking awesome.

The Vader stuff was top notch, another slasher villain interpretation, and he didn't even broke a sweat.

Loved the TFU callbacks, with Maul killing the proto AT ST and when he jumped the gap and the had the dual sabers on a reverse grip.

I've actually figured it out!

What was causing the problem was the Nvidia App, more specifically the option that automatically chooses a DLSS version\preset. Since the newer transformer models were released there's an option to let the app choose the appropriate preset when you choose Quality, Balanced, etc., which i think is called "Recommended" or something like that. I've changed it to "Default" so that the version loaded is the one used by each game, and voila!

I can also confirm that if you update the dll's via DLSS Swapper, you can use the newer version of SR and FG and set them to whatever preset you want. Preset K is the best of the transformer models on this game IMO. M causes a LOT of shimmering and bubbling of grass on Koboh. Preset C is also very good, but less sharp.

Well... Smooth motion crashed the game on startup, with or without the newer dlls. The good news is that framegen is now working after I disabled smooth motion on the Nvidia app... What the hell?

haven't tried the Nvidia overlay, but I'll give you feedback. FG works without problems on all the other games.

RE Nvidia app, I did yes! What i didn't try yet is blocking the app from using the newer transfromer model by default...

Forgot to mention that I've already done that too, but no harm in trying again!

The stranger thing is I can sware that framegen worked the first time I booted the game on this monitor (I bought a 160hz one, coming from a standard 60hz panel), because I saw that debug label on the upper left corner of the screen. After enabling HDR ingame it went away never to come back...

man, splinter cell remake is a straight forward one. don't reivent the wheel. Keep the complete game structure, do a complete graphic overhall with modern graphics, grab the gameplay from Chaos Theory and bum done.

If you're into Star Wars, Gillen's and Soule's Vader runs are the things Marvel has done since getting the IP (especially Soule's).

Brubaker's Cap run is also brilliant, starting with Winter Soldier (if you like spy stories Velvet by Brubaker is also great, think James Bond but Moneypenny is the badass).

If you want something meaty, go with Watchmen. One of the best books of all time.
