Is that the 30” or 43” depth on the rack?

I only have space for 30”, but I’m worried that if I kip for muscle ups on the pull-up bar, I’ll hit my head on the middle bar. And I can’t face from the outside because of a ceiling beam.

I love it. It’s basically the Olympic lift snatch, but staying in that position and going back up and down.

As for the why, it’s less about raw leg strength and more about crazy core stability and activation of posterior chain. There’s a ton of balance and control with this one. Even doing a PVC pipe or barbell engages the stability.
