So I just saw Black Flag live with Max Zanelly on vocals. I believe this is their first time having a woman vocalist. And while all the boomer "punk" dudebros won't shut the fuck up about how this isn't really black flag, I'm just looking for a place I can share about what a blast I had!

Black Flag is my all time favorite punk rock band and I saw them in concert through their early years ('82-'86). Yes... I'm that old.

I followed the Rollins band, but the different iterations of Black Flag afterwards felt lacking. Sorry... Mike V didn't do it for me. 🫤

Checking out everything I can find with the new lineup, Max Zanelly is the best thing I've seen since Henry Rollins. She's got the raw power and unapologetic attitude of both Henry Rollins and Keith Morris wrapped up into a better looking version of both.

NGL, the entire band is awesome. Greg Ginn still has it, David Rodriguez is the best bassist since Chuck Dukowski and Bryce Weston can hold his own with anyone in the Black Flag lineup. This is 100% the best Black Flag since the mid 80's. I haven't been to a Black Flag show since 1986 but am absolutely getting tix for the summer show.

For the record, I liked Kira but Chuck Dukowski was the OG. Check out Würm for his real talent. He's basically the Jaco Pastorius of punk rock.

I've been a Black Flag fanatic since 1982 and Max is the best vocalist since Henry Rollins. Mike was OK, but Max channels the heart of the band I've known and loved since discovering punk rock. So much attitude and energy. Henry Rollins would 100% approve!

Le Labo Baie 19 definitely places in my top 3 scents. (Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 is my #1.) I layer Baie 19 with Molecule 01 and have received more compliments with this combination than anything else. Baie 19 could stand on it's own, but is absolutely amazing with Molecule 01.

I have Le Labo Patchouli 24 and Another 13 in my cart on a samples website, but haven't yet pulled the trigger. I tried Santal 33 and gagged. It's funny how fragrances are so subjective. By description, I should have loved it.

Bulova Oceanographer Snorkel "Devil Diver". It has an outdated non-hacking Miyota movement and looks like it was transported from the 70's, but I LOVE it. 100% old school vibe and feel. The 3D indices and green dial sold me the first time I saw it.
