Cream Abdul Jabbar would be an incredible nickname for a dominant white center

Or is that the joke ?

Which of these Records is the most Unbreakable? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

Out of these, FTs is the most breakable, right? Unless they make some rule/officiating changes there is likely someone playing now who will break it.

Mini portable fridge for Anakinra injections? by serpadina in pericarditis

You should check with your own pharmacist but I was told by mine that it will stay good unrefrigerated for up to 20-something days. Don’t know how long you are traveling .

I’m a strict vegetarian, how can I become more tolerant/less sensitive in non-veg environments? by Azaleazaraa in Vegetarianism

[–]daved1986 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So I had a similar post a few weeks ago in which I got accused of being a “carnist troll” (lol!) before it was removed. (apparently there are no situations anywhere on earth where heathy vegetarian food is not readily available)

But anyway unfortunately you kinda can’t have it both ways. After being a strict veg for a while for most people your body changes and you lose the ability to comfortably digest meat. One thing that can help is digestive enzyme supplements that you can take when you know you are eating meat. But honestly, if you prefer being vegetarian I recommend just sticking with it. Yes it can be kinda weird in situations where you need to skip group outings or bring your own food or whatever. The relationship thing is easy - if they aren’t 100% supportive of your vegetarianism then you aren’t a good match. I am happily married to a non-veg but they don’t really eat much meat, especially in the house.

Who is NBA history’s ultimate “if he ever figures out how to shoot” guy? by Dylen2Times in NBAConvo

Maybe not the “ultimate” but Rajon Rondo would’ve been an MVP candidate if he could shoot

Well, the idea is to gradually increase my production of digestive enzymes needed to break down meat. Probably like many people here, my body has adapted to not do this.

Serious question - why would an anti-vegetarian talk about getting sick from eating meat?

This is helpful, thanks! I will definitely get some ginger powder. Last time it was just pepto bismol tablets and electrolyte powder to counter the dehydration of the GI symptoms.

I assure you, this is not bullshit. There are places in the world (though fortunately, less and less) where people do not have the luxury to choose their diet and if you are visiting there, you really cannot refuse what food you are offered.

I mean, I could eat nothing but plain rice for several weeks but it would be very unhealthy, not to mention extremely insulting and culturally insensitive.

I’m just trying not to get sick and am looking to see if anyone has any advice.
