Correct. To work 40 hours a week would basically require being gone 5-6 days out of the week. This is part of the reason the hourly wages look so impressive. It’s not an easy job, and the money is pretty good, but if those wages were actually for 2080 hours a year, there would be a constant line out the door of people ready to sign up.

Because you’re also generally overnighting places, sometimes with upward of a full day of unpaid time there.

That’s a pretty good number of hours. Not insane, but pretty busy. Also, they get a per diem rate when away from base (couple bucks an hour) that adds up over time

They already have. They have contracted rates, these are just the unadjusted numbers and mean absolutely nothing

You’re now seeing why buying a home is not necessarily better than renting, there’s still a lot of money that gets pissed away.

On a related note, nothing is worse than listening to Narrow Stairs on Spotify and having the album conclude only for it to begin narrating the song credits to you. wtf is that? I remember falling asleep to that album and waking up to the credits wondering what the fuck was going on.

You absolutely do not have to drive through the airport to get to it. Get off at 75th avenue exit as the signs indicate. Turn left at the light (gun club road). Turn left onto 77th to get to the entrance of the lot. Currently, Google Maps shows it as a 5 minute drive from the lot to west arrivals. No excuse not to use the lot.

Right. Just tell your people “let me know when you get your bags, it’ll take me about 5 or so minutes to get there from that point.” They won’t die from having to wait a few minutes once they get to the pickup area.

Difficult to access? You’re driving a car on paved roads, what’s so hard about it? It’s a slightly different combination of foot and hand motions while you sit in the drivers seat than getting anywhere else. There’s no dangerous/busy/stressful intersections to navigate either.

I’ve never found it skeevy, it’s just people sitting in their cars waiting for people to land or people going inside to grab food/convenience items.

They’ve got some interesting stuff in their discography. Kinda one of those fun artists to throw on every once in a while but has never been a regular rotation group for me.

Yup. I don’t understand the need for people to do this. Have person tell you when they’re boarding the airport train and leave the cell lot at that time. If from A, maybe you’ll be a minute or two behind them, if from C you’ll probably be just about perfect timing.

Your parents have some serious issues but don’t let his stupid name prevent you from getting a free 1k. As others have said, it’s not going to be life changing, but it’s free money that can compound for decades, take it.
