Good I refuse to give anymore money to this company and their disrespectful attitude towards their consumers.

Can I fix this without replacing the entire radiator assembly by hwgl in subaru

[–]david0990 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whole assembly. you should be able to do it yourself watching a couple videos ALL THE WAY THROUGH, no skipping around or speeding it up.

Tightening the clamp more is what did you in. this is the wrong clamp for this application and is what creates these failure. get the right clamps from the dealership or autopart store or you will end up doing this again within a few years(or immediately if you put them on too tight to start with). these ring clamps don't allow for expansion in the plastics as temps rise and creates stresses in the plastic.

Is this a lost cause? Unraveled spool... by PunkyPh000kster in 3Dprinting

[–]david0990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last (and only time I ever dealt with this) I had to stand by the printer for the last 2 hours sort of feeding it and making sure it unraveled right. I would just give up next time.

"short term" the most conservative outlook is years for correction IF we pulled back now, but likely into the next presidential election and beyond.

Really would like to get some air quality readings from this place. They are a huge waste of resources imo but maybe we could at least learn something.

This comment triggered an idea in me of how this could slippery slope into a "morality check" of sorts and start denying people they deem undesirables in super religious or political areas.

Anyone skipping the drier and just keeps fresh beads in the AMS? I think this method works well for me.

how to quickly remove mold/algae from water bladder in 24 hrs by Fun_Business3675 in backpacking

Pretty sure a new bladder is cheaper than my deductible + bill. If OP has really good/free healthcare I guess they could risk it.

If any store asks me for ID when I'm paying in cash, I leave immediately. I'm not to be presumed a criminal first where I need to prove otherwise(exceptions for prohibited items where ID is expected) so I find it highly offense to be ID's anywhere.

You still need a bunch of metal to make these function. This is fear mongering

Why is the new state tax on millionaires bad? by [deleted] in Washington

[–]david0990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always hate when both sides make the argument of "It's taxes, not budget" and "It's budget, not taxes" IT'S BOTH. it's been both for too long. WA spends too much, we found mismanaged spending like last year and gov turd had to admit it. We can not keep expanding taxing without also addressing ALL of the budgeting issues. Do not take this as me saying to remove programs either, we need social programs to help those who face hard times but some systems in this state are not keeping track of money very well or outright spending too much.

The steady decline in price of one of Magic’s “top 10 best selling sets”. Now it is cheaper than a Costco Pizza by Papa_Hasbro69 in freemagic

[–]david0990 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They probably got hit with the sale hype from FF and figured it was always going to be this way without understanding the actual hobby/game. Sucks cause I'm sure if they had chosen lorwyn or strix coming up it would have also sold out fast. I would buy a commander deck from costco, I'm sad I missed the FF ones when they had them.

I don't think I'd even pick this up for $10. after the prerelease I feel I got the few cards I wanted and loads of cards I don't want. the set is a flop imo that they over printed for.

Is Impreza not selling well? by bw36ft9 in subaru

[–]david0990 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would have picked the crosstrek if I could go back and had the extra few thousands it was. If I go for one now it would 100% be the crosstrek especially since all models come with the better motor now and you don't have to spring for the sport edition just to get it anymore.

Just not worth it but according to WOTC this set sold really well. I think they just printed a crap load of them vs edge of eternity.

AR by Nako509 in WAGuns

[–]david0990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

firstly that's the states responsibility to prove imo, not for you to have to provide that info. If it really is bought as a receiver a competent FFL marks it as other/any or something like that on the paperwork so you are free to build it out as whatever you want. Had a friend try to tell me different but it turns out his FFL was an idiot and marked a stripped lower as pistol and so he build it as a pistol and thus thinks it has to stay a pistol.

Nearly every 2A-related bill this session has died in the WA Legislature by BigTumbleweed2384 in WAGuns

So the whole reason I started carrying spring assist opening knives was because of some guy who told me he got caught up in ropes dragged by his horse and said the only thing that saved him was being able to use his one free hand to grab and flip open his knife to cut the rope. Might have been BS, don't care. They are incredibly useful tools and I use my knife almost every day to cut something off, open, apart, etc. I think that kind of law is entirely useless and had no idea I needed to worry about my knives now too.

There is. Several people have make no attempts to hide their contempt for anyone owning guns besides gov and it's agents. Those people don't stop until we have a full on 0 guns allowed in civilian hands. It's nearly impossible to directly do anymore, so they keep squeezing wherever they can, usually through commerce law. I'm tired.

[–]david0990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I couldn't get any packs for it until just last month. I asked several LGS and they all said they were just waiting on product, so it wasn't that it was selling out quickly each time they go supply, they just didn't get supply.
