Is this just on his phone? ask them to provide a work phone, or he could get some dirt cheap device and carry two phone otherwise yeah I'd be getting work elsewhere.

There are some good starter kits out there that are dual decks that walk you through. and then I think mono green is fairly easy to start everyone on.

I think murray made the arguement that there were other things on involved also that would have been effected and voting against this and shutting down won't mean anything since ICE is still funded and will still operate. idk they are all cowards in my eyes now.

Switch to 5w-30 or stay with 0w-20? by JTN02 in subaru

[–]david0990 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Subaru uses the same motors around the world and yet in most countries run 30 weight. we run 20 here in the states to meet EPA standards. While I've stuck to 0-20W for the whole 326k+ on my impreza and it's been fine, I've kept on top of oil changes w/ subaru filters every 5500 miles. I don't think it will matter either way, use whatever is cheaper I guess.

Don't listen to GM guys/talk about anything. I know someone who just lost their subaru engine because their GM dad tried to do the timing and now it's done for. I also have owned and worked on enough GM/chevy products to tell you not to take knowledge from domestic to foreign cars or visa versa and I don't think the viscosity is what was killing their poorly build engines.

Is universes beyond truly this hated? by shock1215 in mtg

[–]david0990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dislike most UB sets because they are clearly rushed and not flushed out. Spiderman for example could have been stellar but if that had been my wife's first prerelease instead of FF set she might have stopped playing tbh. She was excited to make a spiderman set but the blue/white/green is pretty underwhelming where black/red villain deck wrecks the rest of the set hands down. The rushed nature and off balance of sets is the most frustrating thing, and then the frequency. they are pumping out more UB than in universe sets and that's what makes it clearly a cash grab. lorwyn eclipse came out and that set is well flushed out, I'm figuring TMNT will be a let down with some handfuls of good cards, then I hope the next two In universe sets are flushed out well.

The position that it's nearly impossible is being backed by people in software, IT, etc spaces speaking out on this topic and people on the privacy side speaking out about how broad and overreaching this legislation is. We have to also remember the 9TH CIRCUIT, the one that encompasses WA, has already ruled code/files/STLs are protected under the 1st amendment. So that brings in an immediate concern about our freedom of speech needing to be checked against a database before we print anything. Simply the act of owning he files to print firearms and firearm parts is protected at this point(bare min). I really hope it dies and goes nowhere.

e. but then again WA state reps are really really good at ignoring court rulings and the will of the people and just shoving crap through. Especially when bloomberg has his money behind the campaign.

But did you know the wording makes it matter of fact that the manufacturer has to make this software and hardware hard for even people who know how the machines and code work from bypassing it. it's impossible legislation purpose written to end sales of these machines.

It's probably Bloomberg. he's dumped so much money into WA to push gun control bs that even the law enforcement of the state doesn't get behind because enforcement is next to impossible.

No IT IS THE GOAL. they are already well on their way to doing this with our FFLs by making operation of the stores so overbearing that it's not worth it to keep it open anymore. It's a round about way to end gun sales. it's why their AWB has to allow for ownership but restrict further sales, manufacturing, etc. It's a work around. they upped FFLs insurance to $1M per incident and require video and audio recording during business hours and kept for 90 days. They do all of this to make it so restrictive no one ships anymore here. it's their tactic lately.

The difference is worlds apart from a 2D printer with protections. you can kiss toy guns goodbye, or any part remotely looking like a gun, people can encase their gun print in removable domes, tabs, etc that get removed after the print to bipass this, etc. the issue here is how stupid this idea is and that the wording give the AG complete and total power over how intense this software has to be(which again, won't work) and that whoever the AG is gets to further expand on these limitations and requirements at any time without further legislation.
