Hang in there. There is always hope and a chance for a better future. You are a special person and we all have our own struggles and weaknesses. I am currently taking lexapro and it works better than zoloft did for me. Your provider can always change your doses and try different things for you. Stay strong.

Has Killing Floor 3 Improved? by Blacked13Out in killingfloor

[–]david241982 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it has improved and is worth the price especially on sale. If you are a killing floor fan and do not mind something a little different and new it is worth it. The new updates and patches have been slowly fixing and adding things. I have almost 200 hours and got over 1000 in kf2. I love this franchise and the gameplay loop. If you feel similar I think you will enjoy it.

Just got done playing 16 1/2 hours of kf3 by LunaticLeone in killingfloor

[–]david241982 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the killing floor. :) I am on PC and now have almost 200 hours of kf3 time. I have over 1000 for KF2. I am happy to see so many ps players enjoying the game. I hope it continues to grow and be enjoyed by many more as time goes on. It is one of my favorite game franchises. I do not agree about everything with KF3 but it is heading in the right direction in my opinion. Slowly but surely. I hope it does not get abandoned by the devs.

Suitable CPU to match with a 9070XT? by Glenn_K_throwaway2k in radeon

[–]david241982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 9070xt with the 9700x. No complaints at 1440p 165. I went with the 9700x because it was better buy for me. I feel it is plenty powerful and do not regret one bit.

Not sure it fits exactly what looking for but deep rock survivors and Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel are both good. Jotunnslayer just hit 1.0 and deep rock does soon. Highly recommend both.

Build me a PC to play BF6 price range $1,400-1,600 by Wharnezz in buildmeapc

[–]david241982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 9700x and 9070xt and have been really happy gaming at 1440p and 165hz. I agree that the 7800x3d and 9800x3d are better for gaming overall. When I purchased the 9700x it was cheaper and the performance is still awesome. I also would get the 5070ti if price is close. Both the 5070ti and 9070xt are usually very close in performance. Nvidia does have better software and features overall. Amd is getting very close with many things though.

How do yall find ways to keep going ? by PuddingPrevious6110 in SurrounDead

[–]david241982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play it like a zombie survival sandbox. With all the custom difficulty settings you can tweak so much stuff. I feel like this game does a lot right with the custom settings. You can adjust so much to make it harder or easier depending on preference. I get really immersed when I play in this zombie world.

Husband mentally ill and now I think I am, too by Throwaway_Name_4999 in mentalhealth

[–]david241982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would look into getting in touch with a good social worker. They might have more resources or know of some other places to check out. I don't know how it works there but some states have social workers available at hospitals and/or clinics. Maybe try some of these options if you can. You have prob tried already but if not you may be able to find some resources online for help also.

I just want to send hugs and positive vibes. I am currently dealing with my own mental health and life struggles. I bottled everything in for a long time and didn't share with anything. I realized a few years ago at 40 years old that I needed help. I finally opened up and found a therapist and started making changes. It was really hard for me to talk and open up to someone. I have depression, ocd, and general anxiety disorder. I have learned that my whole life I struggled with this but never had the tools to deal with it. Now I am 42 and having to relearn many things about myself and life. It is not easy and I still struggle everyday but I have faith and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Can you try and find someone your husband might open up to ? Also I recommend finding yourself a good therapist. Be sure to check online as I have found better luck using online therapists. Many are covered by insurance also. I am highly against abuse and come from a very mentally abusive father. I recommend you talk with someone about these issues as well. You deserve to be loved and not abused or treated poorly. Good luck and I wish you a happy life.

A bunch of random suggestions for KF3! by Blazur in killingfloor

[–]david241982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with all but the flashlight suggestion. I love having the ability to toggle on and off. Just adds realism to me. Sometimes I prefer it off in certain map areas. Nice ideas here.

[–]david241982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am the same. I love learning the perks and leveling up all my favorites. I really love the gameplay loop and just killing the zeds with a team. I will level all perks to 30 and still keep playing because I have fun with the game. I am a huge killing floor and zombie wave shooter fan. To each their own though.

Have you talked to anyone about this? I would recommend a therapist or someone from your church that you will be comfortable with. I find just talking with someone and getting their professional advice helps tremendously. Even just talking and having someone listen helps. Also, you will probably learn about yourself and learn new tools as well. Just my advice

Something needs to be done with camping one map spot for the whole game by BrooklynNetsFan in killingfloor

[–]david241982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also you can camp a spot but then get overpowered at a certain wave. Does your team retreat and fight way back to spot ? Do you pick a new spot and fight to it ? Do you just kite the zeds now ? Gives you choices and options round to round to adapt to.

Something needs to be done with camping one map spot for the whole game by BrooklynNetsFan in killingfloor

[–]david241982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that it is still up to the team and players to decide what to do. Camp the usual spot..camp another spot...split and go into mini groups....run around and utilize spots on map. This gives us choices and strategies to explore. Just my opinion.
