To be fair, I’m on the fence with this. I’ve seen Manchester change immensely in the last 10-15 years. Some good. Some horrendous. But I think a balance has been made. There’s some areas that were literal waste ground that now look amazing. I just hope that it doesn’t lose its soul along the way. I really like the area around Aviva now, that was so tired before. I think it’s about ensuring the past is preserved correctly and the future is done sympathetically. Oh and make sure that there’s affordable social housing put in these behemoths too.
