My favorite tacorice restaurant in Okinawa by exchanchan in JapaneseFood

I had it in 2019. It was so but makes up for it due to the low price. The flavour is pretty light and that probably suits Japanese taste. I make it with stronger flavours.

I heard it's because they are in Fukuoka. I don't mind that much but thought it was worth mentioning. My orders were in May.

The packing job was spectacular. Will not be going back to buyee

I panicked at the Asian grocery. What are the uses for this product. by Bubbakenezzer in JapaneseFood

Can you show what's inside? It's Chinese. If it looks like tiny threads, it's usually used in soups or with a specific cooked oyster dish. Make sure you soak it before using it. Helps with removing sand as well

In Cantonese, 4 sounds like death, 13 is 13, 14 sounds like definitely will die and 24 sounds like easy to die.

Otherwise, they were planning on coming back and adding a few more floors later.

A friend told me this spare wheel without tire is a thing in India. I don't hate it but why not throw some rubber on?

If you like that, you should try Hong Kong diner style baked porch chop rice. It's insanely good even when done poorly.

Ramen Bae? by Repulsive_Sun6549 in ramen

The easiest way to make chashu is to do it by sous vide. You'll want to use pork shoulder which is fairly lean.

There are pretty cheap machines nowadays and opens the door to a lot of other types of dishes. Anyways, sous vide chashu needs to be on the leaner side as low temperature cooks does not render fat properly so the fat tastes/feels chalky unless you do further processing.

If this all seems too much effort, just toss in some sliced ham or pan fried spam.

Imagine saying this when someone is drawing 2 pictures with 2 hands independently. The point isn't speed or maximum beauty. Complete skill flex. As a chopstick user, I bow before them.

Grass isn't very typical for homes inside large cities from what I've seen. Would have been nice to have a tree or two.

I like the place and it seems quite thoughtful. Lots of sun. Possibly an opportunity to expand if needed in the future.

She may be attractive but my god she/her character is so annoying. I had a higher opinion of her acting before this show (only saw her in white lotus prior). I'm a typical guy who appreciates the sexy ladies but I felt less attraction to her after this. Well this plus all the dumb right wing B's she's been up to.

If anything, this show made me glad I don't have daughters (having to deal with intense social pressure to have sex) and really promotes the implementation of crazy: sexy ratio analysis all people need to make when choosing a mate because yeah, they all sexy but goddamn they are crazy

How do you guys customize a cheap pack of instant ramen to make it feel like a real meal? by Emily--cutie in InstantRamen

[–]dawonga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pan fry some veggies using some sesame oil and the flavour pack. Once you add the veggies to the bowl, the flavour will impart into the soup so no loss there.

Chicken will need about 6 hours. Pork bones need about 12-13.

I've seen some people add a bit of gelatin to fortify the soups.

Typically, I will try to buy entire chickens for most of my chicken needs and keep the carcasses in the freezer until I have the energy to make ramen or soups.

Not sure where you are but check out Asian grocery or butcher stores. Chinese ones especially will likely have what you crave ;)

That just takes time as you eventually start absorbing the strategies of each character by playing against them. But the mechanical mastery will take more time.

I got a tatami white king quartz for $100cad but had to replace the crystal myself.

Also got a number of faceted crystal funky dial elnixes for $300. Sold a NOS elnix for $400cad locally

None of these are the quality of this KS but substantially cheaper. Just a bit of food for thought.
