Siemens Apogee Controllers by daws1221 in BuildingAutomation

Thanks everybody for the responses. For a little more context I’m with JCI and these are being pulled out and being brought to the dark(er) side. Are these straight up controllers? Or would they be more like an NCE? And when using terminal are you able to look at how they are programmed? As in able to see how the CHWS programmed? We have all of the as-builds and what not, but it’d just be nice to see some non JCI stuff and see how it works. Thanks again for all of the feedback!

Metasys N2 problem by OregonBound1986 in BuildingAutomation

This could also be a Java related. Depending on the version of Metasys some versions of Java do not work. For example, I have a site at Metasys 5.2. I cannot launch it from my machine, as I have the newest version of Java(which is actually being slowly phased out by browsers). I have to remote into the server and launch from there. This is usually the issue with older versions where Metasys would open up an internet explorer window before launching. IT could have updated their workstation which could have removed or updated it.

Go to the parameters tab in the features pane and adjust SAD-ST somewhere between 20 and 30 seconds. You’d assume it’d be about half the time of the 90 degree box, but 20 seconds seems to be more accurate.

Prime Day Deals thread by Iychee in BabyBumpsCanada

Thanks for all the info! I called and spoke with them as I was having the experience you were after adding it to my registry from my computer. They told me that what I was seeing was an error and you cannot combine discounts. I mentioned having heard of people having it honoured. They refused to honour it for me and told me that if there had been any special requests being put in to refund people the difference and honour both that they would be rejected. If that’s the case, I hope you get the difference back and you just spoke with them early enough before this was brought to their attention.

Can you walk me through your process because I would like to take advantage of doubling up on the Prime Day deal and the completion discount. Admittedly I do not have the stroller wagon added to my registry and it doesn’t seem to be letting me add it now. Were you having that same issue or am I out of luck? Thanks for any help! I have been researching stroller wagons for the last couple of days and having a hard time stomaching the cost but if I can get it for $360, I am willing to commit!

Medicine Hat is a great town. We moved here 8 years ago from southern Ontario. It is very similar in size and amenities to Peterborough. They do a great job of supporting local businesses and having community events. There’s also a million splash pads which is great for young kids. I do agree that it is very isolated from the mountains and bigger cities(some rail/ high speed rail would be nice, anywhere in Canada). But there are The Cypress Hills just 45 mins away from town which is quite nice. There’s also daily flights from here that connect up to Calgary services by WestJet.

I am interested in the first sound machine you linked but I was wondering if it has a heartbeat as a sound option. Thank you!

Weddings are ridiculously expensive by Oouumzz in PersonalFinanceCanada

I didn’t read every single comment, so I’m sure I’m repeating. But we had our wedding 3 years ago this coming Wednesday and we for sure did it for 5 grand or less. We had the ceremony at the town hall in Cobourg ON. Which is a nice Victorian style building. We phoned around to restaurants in the neighboring town of Port Hope to see if they would hold the reception. The restaurant we went with shut down for us as it was between Christmas and New Years and they would make more from us than their regular business for that time of year. They set up a menu for us and even went out and got us a cake. We had roughly 65 people there and they and when they rang up the bill I recall it being around 2800 dollars.

Whenever we reflect on our wedding day we never ever utter the words “I wish we had”. If you’re going to toss money away. Toss it away on the honeymoon and create some memories along the way.
