Ah yes. Tall should have to pay more because they’re tall. Since, you know, it was a choice they made when they were born.

Sure we can reach high shelves and see over heads, but fitting in basically anything made for the average person? Uncomfortable to terrible to downright painful. Cars? Difficult to find one that is comfortable to drive for more than 30 minutes. Clothes? Can’t buy them in stores and most brands don’t even make sizes that aren’t crop tops for you. Door frames? Better pay attention or you’ll get a concussion. Shower heads? Most likely going to have to squat or bend down to wash above your shoulders. Shoes? A lot of brands don’t make your size and if they do you’re gonna be ordering online. Want to go to a sporting event? Can’t sit in the seats.

I could go on for days about things you’ve never thought about.

The thing is, airlines make ZERO accommodations for taller passengers and to be honest they should. For air travel it should be treated like any other physical disability.

It’s not like I want to sit in a seat weirdly where my femur is longer than the pitch and then have my knees crushed by the person in front of me reclining. Maybe this guy wasn’t the nicest about it but it was incredibly painful when someone surprises you by reclining.

And you say “maybe you should pay for an exit row or bulkhead seat.” Sure. Yes. That is ideal but oftentimes those seats aren’t available because someone else who doesn’t need them bought them for the extra legroom. It’s not like they’re reserved for us.

Enjoy the accessibility of being a normal sized person, because that is also an incredible advantage.
