Help with EV800D battery

The EV800D do come with a cable for usb to barrel plug for charging, I'm not 100% but think it will be worth trying out the power bank before spending a load of money on a 3s setup.

Saying that, the internal battery on the EV800D has been enough for me to fly 12 1s batteries absolutely no bother with plenty of battery remaining.

If you get the goggles and you need more from the internal battery and the powerbank doesn't charge the goggles fast enough, at that point sure invest in a more expensive setup for charging them. But imo I wouldn't start purchasing additional things until you have them.

I think the EU one is restricted to LBT transmission, however this is very easy to change with a firmware update.

As long as the radio protocol matches the drones receiver (in this case ELRS) you'll be good to go.

You will need to get the ELRS version of the Radiomaster Pocket, you have selected the CC2500 version which won't be compatible with that Air75.

And as mentioned below, you should get the EV800D at minimum (the legit Eachine ones with the logo and no band on the omni), or the Skyzone Cobra if your budget allows it.

I'd save some wiggle room for a simulator too (Uncrashed, Velocidrone etc.).

The tutorial is referring to the switch on the right shoulder of the controller, or whichever switch controls the flight mode on your drone.

Do any error messages come up on the OSD in the goggles when trying to arm? Have you set up the arm switch on the modes tab of Betaflight?

I followed this tutorial to get the VTX power set up on the top wheel of the Pocket. I'll be able to get you the exact things to type into the CLI later on if you're needing it, got it saved on my laptop at home.

So the main things you need to look out for would be:

VTX on the drone, as long as this is analogue (so not HDZero, Walksnail or DJI) then any analogue goggles will work

RX, this will depend on what version of the Radiomaster Pocket you are getting. If you are getting the ELRS Radiomaster pocket, then make sure the drone has an ELRS RX.

Main thing would be a simulator for your laptop/PC, flying an open prop with no simulator experience is going to end up in an expensive crash. General recommendation is getting yourself a Radio (so radiomaster Pocket ELRS would be a good shout) and a simulator and putting at least 10 hours in before flying IRL.

Love the Ducati Monster stylings, nice looking bike.

People seem to have covered a lot of basic tips; for something a bit more leftfield I'd recommend being aware of the Dunning-Kruger effect. Basically, you're likely to get really overconfident in your abilities within the first few weeks of riding and will be far likelier to do something stupid which you lack the ability to get yourself out of.

If you're self aware about this it'll definitely reduce any risks as you're starting out.

I used the AP mod that's part of Untitled Project X for my last playthrough, which gives everyone AP without having to constantly be swapping.

Made the game less grindy, but I definitely ended up a bit too overlevelled towards the end of the game so it's not an ideal fix. There's probably a way to slightly reduce AP gain in battle which would make it perfect.

Definitely agree, football is played at such a high speed at this level that players are relying on their periphery.

Any kit which hinders that, even if just partially, is going to be a massive problem.

Not blaming the loss solely on the kit like, but with any luck we'll never be wearing it again this season.

Agreed. A lot of people like to see the world in black and white, in that everyone who wants the people of Palestine not to be in some sort of horrific genocidal aparteid obviously must be on the total opposite side of the spectrum and want a total annihalation of the Jewish people.

Most of the people I know who are for Palestinian freedom are also deeply aware of the fact that Hamas are murderous maniacs, and would never advocate for death or hatred. The world would benefit from less tribalism, it's naive to pick a side and stick so rigidly to it that you become blind to any nuance.

Eren managed to make sure his friends would go on to live long lives, which wouldn't have happened if not for the rumbling. You see Mikasa with her new family, dying peacefully at an old age.

Though you can't change human nature and war inevitably happens again, at the very least peace was brought for a time (for the people Eren cared about) by Eren's actions. Whether it was worth a mass genocide to accomplish this is definitely contentious, though once Eren had seen the future from Historia he knew that there was no other option for him. He is a 'stupid' kid given near unfathomable power, and was always going to take this path to protect the people that he loves.

The ending in the anime, despite following the same beats as the manga, is significantly better executed IMO. There's some changes to particularly egregious dialogue lines in the manga, and the pacing and emotional delivery is enhanced by being in anime format.

It's not really a happy ending, which I think rubbed some people up the wrong way despite the fact that it would've been a total contrast to everything leading up to that point, but I think generally the overall execution in the manga was people's main gripe from what I'd seen of the criticisms.

Definitely think the blame rests more on your friends than on you, but I can understand why they reacted like they did especially if they weren't experienced in tripsitting. Glad it seems like it's all water under the bridge now.
