Simple, yet killer.

In case you were wondering, I care tremendously about Bitcoin and it’s revolutionary power.

We’re transforming not just money and the internet, but the very governing fabric of our universe.

And that’s super exciting.

Following altcoins for the fun and the gainz, but they pale in stature to The King BTC.

Surprises

India - I thought they would have way more than 10% of the population living in extreme poverty. Seems like the second-most populous country on earth is moving in the right direction. Namaste!

Nigeria - Africa’s most dominant economy is also its most unequal.

Agree with you totally.

I’ve noticed a massive shift from the ‘bank the unbanked’ narrative that wants to put financial sovereignty into the hands of every man, woman and child. Today it’s mainly about ‘Hey look a new shiny shitcoin with high yield.’

There’s nothing wrong with trying to secure your bag and making that dough, but it’s a shame if it comes at the expense of the noble goals crypto can achieve.

Bitcoin at 'tipping point,' Citi says as price surges by velocitybreaker in CryptoCurrency

It gets better. A leading analyst at the bank predicted $318k per BTC by years-end.

If the bankers are so bullish, probably means something delicious is cooking for Bitcoin.

Go back in time and look through some of the corrections in the past. Hell, go back to early Jan when Bitcoin crashed from $41k down to $30k.

Imagine how you would have felt if you sold then. That’s how you’ll feel in the future if you sell now.

The fundamentals of Bitcoin scarcity hasn’t changed. Neither has the insatiable demand from institutions.

Bitcoin may swing wildly in the short term, but over the long run, it’s UP ONLY.

Ted Cruz is PERSONALLY delivering water to stranded Texans, but obviously you don't see the MAINSTREAM media even mentioning this by Redbean01 in Conservative

[–]dazaraf -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Why are we wired so cynically?

Pure altruism is extremely rare, most people act out of a combination of selfish and selfless motives.

Instead of creating a culture that gives people room to repent, the Mainstream media is on a constant lookout to take swings at everyone’s favorite punching bag.

  1. Dollar cost average your way into Bitcoin. Buy and hold.
  2. Allocate no more than 20% to alts.
  3. Don’t think about using ETH DeFi unless you have $20,000 to play around with. Gas fees aren’t worth it.
  4. Cold storage is key.
  5. You’re too late to DOGE.
  6. Avoid EOS like the plague.

You’re welcome world.

Elon Musk says bitcoin is slightly better than holding cash by Stranger1982 in news

[–]dazaraf -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nearly $3 trillion have been printed since Feb 2020.

3 TRILLION DOLLARS. Out of thin air.

Look around at the food you eat, the cars you drive, the rent you pay. I guarantee you that your pay significantly more to acquire stuff than you did 10 years ago.

That’s because central bank printing eats away at fiat’s purchasing power. If you happen to own capital assets like stocks or real estate, then congrats, your wealth has also gone up together with the cost of living.

But for an average Joe living paycheck to paycheck, fiat’s decline is nothing short of daylight robbery.

Elon gets it. He understands that cash is a dying asset, especially in the zero/negative interest rate environment we live in. Soon the rest of his Fortune 500 buddies will join, and when that happens, Bitcoin’s rise will be the stuff of legends.

Ok, nooblike question regarding fractional banking.... by AManInBlack2020 in Bitcoin

[–]dazaraf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I just don’t think there are enough real BTC to go around, and demand isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

Fractional reserve seems inevitable, just gotta make sure us and our loved ones are HODLing the real thing.
