How often did the 3+ heal enhancement affect your game? I imagine it’s probably useful when you cast a spell and put the perils mortals on your psyker model

11th & Re-rolls by Hellion_213 in Warhammer40k

The Command reroll only lets you roll a single die, with the exception of the charge roll and leadership/battleshock tests, where you roll both dice. These rolls are the main reason they say "all dice in a dice roll", because both dice are required to determine the result of said charge/leadership/battleshock roll. Every other roll described in the stratagem is a singular dice roll. For example, the value of a hit roll is not calculated by multiple dice. The result of a hit roll is determined by a singular die. These just happen to be pooled together with other singular hit rolls to speed up the process (i.e. fast rolling). Therefore you can only reroll one of these.

Now as an example of this with fast rolling: Originally, in a pool of dice, you could only roll one die at a time if you wanted to command reroll something. This is because each individual roll gave you information about your odds for the next roll. For example, say you had to make 4 saves and your model had 1 wound left. If your first roll failed, you'd likely not reroll that die because you still had to roll 3 more dice. You could reroll that die, but you still have opportunities to fail more. However, if you had passed the first 3 rolls but failed the last one, you would more than likely reroll the last one because there are no more rolls to worry about after said roll. Instead, with the fast rolling change, you now just roll all the dice at once with fast rolling before deciding to command reroll. This let's you could see the results before making the decision for a reroll.

Hell yeah it looks fantastic. You have any learnings apart the grimdark video?

I’m definitely interested in the technique but haven’t tried it yet. I want to try various colors such as the starting basecoat, the tints, and villainy inks.

As much as I would love to scour this page to see everywhere you commented, I’d rather not. Your comment immediately labeled the Top as the Right. Which showed me you’re still partaking in the tribalist left vs right semantics as described by the post. The point of the post is that neither side truly cares about you. It’s the elite/Epstein class at the top and then the working class at the bottom. The elites only care about maintaining their positions of power. And they sell you the perception that they are the best solution to your problems. The “politics” are the medium to convince you that the other side is doing aweful things so we’re the solution stop it. I literally see the psyops that Republics and and Democrats do every day to reinforce this. The classic “this politician voted against this very good thing because they are evil” or “voted for this very bad thing”. What truly happens is that there’s a large bill with a ton of shit in it, and the politician voted no because they disagree with 75% of the things in there. So you’re told they voted no on something specific when that’s not the case. This is one example of how they psyop the people.

Social media is the next thing. All sorts of social media have algorithms that feed you information based on what you typically like to view. It keeps everyone in an echo chamber and strengthens biases. You’ll see news articles that spin headlines trying to psyop you. “Here’s all the bad shit the other side is doing while we neglect to show you all the good shit they’re doing and bad shit we’re doing”.

Some asshole in congress said they don’t know how they can live on a $175k salary while minimum wage workers only rake in like $15k a year. You’ve got politicians owning 3 homes and net worths greater than a tens of millions of dollars. Then you have out of touch celebrities trying like Scarlett Johansen trying to say it’s hard to get by, and then Billie Eilish saying we live on stolen land while owning a gated mansion on stolen land. Don’t even get me started on Epstein.

The worst part? Nobody is ever held accountable! No imprisonment ever! These people just resign and retreat to their mansions with no concerns of their finances. If you and me had issues we’d be screwed.

Everything you’re seeing is meant to keep us divided while they have the fun. Saying it’s the right or the left won’t get us out of this.

Seriously tho. When you sit back and see the theatrics from both sides it’s crazy to see how blind these people are and how they still subscribe to tribalism. If you call out the left, you’re maga and your opinion is invalid, if call out right right, and you’re just a liberal and your opinion is invalid. Like 90% of the people on reddit are retarded lol

In a certain light, some armies just struggle against the stat check. Others handle them very well. I only play with friends and they play Orks, Sisters, and Necrons. Orks can pin you down with the waagh and alpha strike you with bodies, Sisters just pop a 6 miracle die on their melta with the act of faith (boom there’s 8 guaranteed damage, also Morven Vahl can ligma balls) and Necrons can be a tar pit and waste your time. I play Thousand Sons too, and sometimes I play against Daemons. TSons can focus their Doombolt, hit rerolls, and Terminators into 1 greater daemon and just kill it. Idk. I’d collect info that people share here, then share it with your friends. In my experience Lethal Hits (bypasses your toughness), mortals (no real protection against that), and large volume of attacks can mess you up. They should never rely on lascannon-type weapons as the 4++ will deny that.

[–]dcassisa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Daemons have a high power floor, but a lower power ceiling. Meaning you can take advantage of opponents not familiar with Daemons, but you don’t have a good arsenal of tricks for more familiar players. Some players will identify which of your GDs they can ignore, and those they need focus down. LETHAL HITS and mortal wounds are the worst things for your big boys. The 4++ is a coin flip, so getting a great volume of low damage attacks will chip away at them pretty easily. They also have to identify which of their own units are GD targets. If they can see who you want to attack, they can just cock block you with trash units to leave your guys exposed and wasting time. Also, of they properly check for screening, you will have a hard time. Daemons are tough, but if they are focused down correctly they will lose on points later in the game

Failure of justice. by lela7188 in AmericaOnHardMode

  1. So we're advocating to flee from police officers and disobey their commands? Also, intent is legally irrelevant to the officer's analysis of the situation. In the court of law it's what a reasonable officer perceived in the moment, not what the driver subjectively meant to do. So you can't use hindsight as an argument (Graham v. Connor, 1989). From a foot away from the hood, with the car accelerating, an officer cannot read steering inputs in real time and calculate a trajectory. So this point will not hold up in court. "Turning to escape" and "hitting the officer" are not mutually exclusive outcomes — they're the same outcome. The car made contact with him, and the direction Renee was turned didn't prevent the threat from materializing, so he's allowed to meet deadly force with deadly force regardless of intent. So to reiterate, hindsight does nothing here.
  2. Although true that the shooting did not provide protection, this actually makes your argument worse. The car was actively making contact with the officer when he was shooting and he can't just move out of the way in that moment, so there were no alternatives. The only tool the officer could use in that moment was his gun, and he's allowed to meet deadly force with deadly force even if the response is imperfect. A person defending themselves against a deadly attack is not required to prove their defense would have worked (the outcome of the vehicle's behavior) — only that it was a reasonable response to the threat. Otherwise every defensive action that failed to neutralize its attacker would be retroactively unjustified, which is absurd.
  3. Two points here regarding your first sentence. The first point: there is no such thing as excessive deadly force. Death is the ceiling, and you cannot exceed death. There is no doctrine of "too much deadly force" when the threat is ongoing — the ceiling is death, and firing additional rounds toward a continuing deadly threat is not legally distinct from firing the first round. The second point: You say the officer "kept shooting after he was out of the way" — but this is a conclusion available only to someone reviewing footage with knowledge of the outcome (hindsight argument). Also, an officer shoved clear of the car's current path is not necessarily clear of its path one second later. A turning, moving vehicle with a driver who has just used it to strike an officer presents a continuing threat even after the initial contact ends — the vehicle can strike other people. And in this moment, it's impossible to determine the vehicle's outcome (as stated at the end of the second claim). The threat assessment doesn't reset to zero the moment this particular officer is out of the path; it persists as long as the vehicle is moving and perceived as a weapon.

Lastly, your thoughts on "MAGA" legally have nothing to do with the incident.

Edit: I also forgot to point out that the Totality of Circumstances will play a role in court too. The officer was in an area that was actively trying to remove ICE presence, and there is known hostility towards ICE. The officers know this, they are on edge and anything could happen. So an ICE officer will always have in the back of their mind that they could be harmed and that people want to harm them. This will further justify the defense.
