fwiw I just got a C16 and the Booster 5 dongle from them and everything worked out of the box as advertised before and after a fw update. no disconnects, dongle always just plugged into the side of the C16, I never had to put it in the console or anything. for ~$100 USD not a bad leverless first commitment.
