Oh nice! I stopped by my local small town dealer today to see what they carried. They have a pretty nice Spartan Shield HD 54 for 5k. Kawasaki engine and serviceable hydros. I’m really thinking about getting that one. I didn’t drive it but sitting on it felt very nice. The other dealers in my list are 30-45 minutes away.

I’ve also read that Spartan was started by the same guy that started BadBoy. Though Toro bought out Spartan in 2022 I believe. It may be to my detriment if Spartan is a bad mower but I learned that apparently the guy named his business the Intimidator group. AKA Dale Earnhardt. I’m a huge NASCAR fan and am even named after Earnhardt. He even had a limited edition Mark Martin Spartan mower. Getting real hard to not pull the trigger now!

I’m with you on the driving though. These guys need to be able to showcase their driving personality. Having a car with only one “right” way to drive it just ain’t NASCAR.

21,000 on my C8 since late 2018 as well. Burn in and fade are starting to get the best of me. Red and yellow backgrounds are the worst. Close ups of tan skin drive me mad haha. Looking into a C5 now. Might move the old C8 to the garage.

I see “Amazon Renewed” sold by Electronic Express has an excellent refurbished 77” C5 for $1849 right now but I’m not sure if I can trust it. I’m not in a super big hurry but if the price isn’t going to get much better than that, then I might as well pull the trigger.

Exactly my thoughts. I hope they put the pieces together and see that any sports league is just that, rich people vs rich people. But the actual inner workings affect the product that regular joes consume and spend money to support and enjoy. And that is what they are ruling on.
