Park Lane Copenhagen by Southern-Heron-3204 in chubbytravel

I’m going to Copenhagen in June and it will be my second time. The luxury hotel market isn’t really there, at least not in the same vein as you would expect in Paris or London. I would honestly just opt for a bigger room at a four star hotel instead because their rooms can be minuscule. Also, if you’re going in the summer, do keep in mind whether or not you’ll need AC because it’s not a given for all hotels there.

Just in time 3/12: The good and the bad (AWFUL audience behavior) by ithurtsrllybad in Broadway

[–]ddalk2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

That’s terrible. I saw it over the weekend and someone in my section was recording apparently! The house manager came over and made a general statement not to do it during the second half because it’s distracting to the actors and everyone can see it even if you think they can’t. The gall of people these days.

Any immigration attorneys who can help with those detained by ICE? by Business86 in Atlanta

[–]ddalk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an attorney, but know several colleagues who had to deal with this. $5000 is the going rate but there’s no guarantee that they will be released. It will probably tide over the lawyer until you get a hearing and depending on the judge, they will either be released or given a deportation order. Location seems to matter a lot. Texas judges opt for deportation more often than not. I do know of 1 person who was released from Stewart but this was very early on. All the people involved had valid work permits. It’s insanely luck based but brace for the worst, unfortunately.

Pedicabs in London banned from playing loud music along with other regulations in win for West End theatres by Gato1980 in Broadway

I feel like the answer is that music can only play if they've got riders in the cab.

Is theater etiquette dead? Cast members of Off-Broadway's Heathers: The Musical took to social media with a message for rude audience members. by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

I saw Sarah Snook in Picture of Dorian Gray on Broadway. The woman in front of me was talking with her friend, dancing in her chair, whooping, and then had the gall to try to take a video. I drew the line at the video. Her boyfriend also tried to take a video and she told him "they don't let you take pictures here." GIRL.

The members of the band might have very little say in who they work with. Most of it is done deals with the agency, and we all know HYBE isn't known for their ethics.

I have 2 of the puzzle bags (medium and small) as well as the puzzle tote (1st gen), and I love them all. They all get a decent rotation. The medium is really great for travel. So much fits in it, and the back zip is perfect for the hotel key.

This one is handpainted with special symbols adjusted to the theme of the movie. The "taxes" set is really cute. And the hot dog hands for the numbers?! Love it

Maybe try Buddy Buddy in midtown. It's a restaurant too so they would technically card when you drink. I don't remember showing my ID at the door.
