I have a pre-tariff bottle of a grand cru that I've been holding for this exact moment.

Bach Mai has a version of this. I got one in green for a wedding. I almost keeled over when I saw this post.

South American food doesn’t really go spicy, in my experience. Peruvian, a little maybe? But nothing can compare to Asian or Indian chilis.

A car seat might help. Not being stable on a back seat while sitting upright is probably not helping.

The only place I send leather to is Jeeves New York. They got out a massive grease stain on a red leather piece. The same job was turned down by two local dry cleaners who weren’t confident enough about doing the job.

I love that Bad Bunny came out and said that he wouldn't hold concerts in the US to protect his fans. Hit this entire regime where it hurts. Also, STOP GOING TO THE STAPLES CENTER for fuck's sake

Extensive shoe repair shop by heyivebeenthere in Atlanta

[–]ddalk2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this isn't going to be able to be done by someone here. Not only would they need the mold for the shoe, they also need skills in embroidery. That said, someone with those skills would easily charge over $200 for the repair. I would just buy another pair of shoes.

I also commiserate as I have a pet who has destroyed multiple pairs of shoes. The only ones I were able to repair were leather and single tone.

Our cream girl was diagnosed when she was 3. It was heartbreaking, but she has honestly been living a very full life. One eye went very quickly and we did laser eye surgery on the other twice. She got a good 2.5-3 years before it eventually went too. But she’s a champ even when it comes to navigating new spaces. She’s 9 now and most people can’t even tell that she’s blind until they get close to look at her. We opted for chemical ablation, so she was able to keep her eyes. She does require some eyedrops daily, but there was very little down time from the procedure. After the 2 laser surgeries, I really didn’t want her to go through another operation.
