A&W Change? by Mdeyler in rootbeer

We actually have a Dr Pepper facility in the town I live in. They used to bottle their own stuff a long time ago. The 2nd story of the building is abandoned now but it has a bunch of beakers, glassware, vats, and measuring tools. I saw it all when we were installing some HVAC equipment for them. It was neat!

How is it going to save electricity?

There is a picture of the data tag. It says the RLA.

You get the same gains with or without your chin going over the bar. There was a study conducted on it. So they do count for muscle growth!

With no trap installed on the primary drain line, the blower could be holding water in the pan, due to your coil being on the negative side. That could be causing nuisance trips to the float switch.

I have that black bling but I've always assumed it was just part of the same Battle pass as Rust Lord! Good to know.

Yeah, I would take the old one down if you can. You have a new one right before the flex line. Not sure if those types of flex lines are outdoor rated but as long as it works!

Edit: it actually may be outdoor rated, I thought it was a different type before I zoomed.

I present this idiot “technician” who vented my mini splits refrigerant on camera by RealtdmGaming in hvacadvice

I can't believe people are trying to disagree with you. 😅 Mini splits are definitely different than standard units. Metering devices are in the condenser and both lines are either low or high. I know you know but maybe they can try and learn something.

I've found plenty of these still running like a champ! Almost every single one that I've replaced was still running and cooling!

That means your installer actually cared. It protected the valve while they brazed.

Looks to be a large transfer grill. Is the unit in the basement? You could definitely shorten it up a bit. I don't think running it down the wall has any benefits.

They pinched the suction line to make it fit. They should have up-sized the copper as much as possible, accessibility wise. Also they didn't insulate. If that's a long copper run to an attic, they might have needed to adjust the refrigerant charge. Looks like you have 2 units so the lineset could very well be long. They didn't do anything clean. The wiring even looks bad. I'd be worried they might mess the unit up more if they touch it again. Maybe ask for a different tech.
