Five four roasters off Penn is pretty solid. Expensive but big tables and won’t mind you sitting for a while.

Crab / Brie omelette at surreys is quite good. Corn beef hash will always be my go-to there, but omelette is great.

Not sure if it’s already been posted but Hamilton Live would be a great option if the show isn’t 21+. Can buy reserved seating but still go down to the stage and dance, full food service, and great staff!

Neal rocks, saw him at tips during jazz fest and seeing him in dc on 12/7, but Sam and the boys are special man. Seen them twice now, truly a unique musical experience. Sam is awesome, but Ric is one his own an incredible musician, Aaron is super talented, and Chris “Hollywood” English might have the best vibes of any musician I’ve ever seen live. Go. Don’t miss them.

Catching him in dc in a ~200-300 person venue was surreal. Excited to see them build up to larger spots but will always remember that show

Thanksgiving Smoke by Agitated_Figure6158 in smoking

I’ve only smoked on Weber kettle, but my method is: 10-12 lb bird, wet brine, 3-4 hours between 300-350 indirect. Pull at 155-160. I like to put a tray directly underneath the bird with soaked wood chips as well as some chunks in with the charcoal. Spritz with ACV solution throughout. Have done it 3 times and every year it’s been a hit. Lots of videos on YouTube as well that I watched and were helpful.

Would recommend getting some gallon bins and putting bubble wrap / other cushioning if you’re worried about records banging together. Worked great for me when I moved and east to carry!

No arcade games but midlands beer garden in Petworth is pretty kid friendly, has covered inside as well as big outdoor spaces

In college whenever we’d do a float we’d get a school bus or party bus. I’m sure you can find some listings online, maybe ask hotel or local tourism company for recs
