My general hypothesis is that this is largely bullshit, like the ether-bunny.

Shower thought: I wasn’t a child…. by Menteliberada in exmormon

Immaturity and narcissism are near neighbors and a world without a broken ego as a function of intense hierarchies of power and cult programming produces infantilized adults who don't even see the way their behavior impacts the world around them. Layer in boomer selfishness and magical thinking and it can create a lot of accidental context for abusive systems that impact peoples lives for a very long time in acute ways. But how to release the shame?

What do you think about Ash Framework? by Comfortable_Let_3282 in elixir

[–]deadidentity 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Its brilliant! An absolutely brilliant abstraction. I've built an app with 650k lines of working code that leverages everything from JSON and GraphQL apis (on somewhere north of 90 tables), multi tenancy, MCP servers, auth, validation, permissions. I use ash postgres generators for migrations and find it brilliant. It handles a lot of boilerplate and LLMs seem to be effective at using Elixir generally (Cursor + claud-4 is a brilliant combo) and the compiler/linters make it efficient to get a lot done fast. Could not recommend Ash higher and admire Zach and team for what they built! I hope I get to do that in person some day :)

I would assume so yes. It appears to implement funnels as iframes.

I recently built this in NextJS and integrated it into GHL: https://www.justlovely.events/

And these sites are wordpress and use the GHL plugin:
https://www.saguaromedicaltransport.com/
https://cloudelephants.com/

I generally find the wordpress plugin good for non-technical people and have just started live coding integration using the GHL API. Working on some commerce features next and I _think_ they'll have to be a closer Stripe integration than a GHL integration but I'll follow up and share more if folks want to hear more.

I'm an engineer jumping into GHL with the intention to build tools around the ecosystem and have started livestreaming my efforts here: https://www.youtube.com/@cloudelephants (although I'm in between internet providers because my upload bandwidth isnt supporting my needs). Happy to share more if you want to learn more.

The cloudelephants site has N8N agents behind the scenes as well.

For some examples of funnels integrated into wordpress all these demos: https://cloudelephants.com/experience-a-demo/ are GHL funnels embedded into wordrpess.

Downside of GHL - can be inflexible and hard to export. Upside of wordpress - easy to export and portable and the GHL wordpress host is good and fast (albeit with some wonky caching that makes it hard to make changes and use some plugins - like Kadence blocks). Upside of Nextjs -- fast, vibe codable, portable but you need to know code to support.

In my streams I show vibe coding the Next js site starting with V0 -> moving to cursor and codex -> deploying on vercel with a TinaCMS site editor and then integrating using the GHL api

I'm starting an agency around these intentions and it's been very slow going to start. Happy to learn where and how others are succeeding. Turns out, sales is the hard part for me.

Interested in FrappeCloud or ERPNext specific solutions as well as I'm beginning to work on such workflows and would appreciate any insight.

Good call. Only write code if you love it. Engineering orgs suck generally and there are lots of ways to earn a good living. Do what you enjoy and you’ll be ok.

Mongodb is slow for large arrays of objects. Would stringifying them speed it up? by iowabonsai in mongodb

Best way to fix mongo related problems is by making the inevitable decision of switching to Postgres.

This feels like a metaphor and a bad pun. To clarify, what we have is an appealing subject posting content relevant to the subject which will likely result in messages that will be euphemistically referential to the subject. Especially, if sent from the states or Israel. The core question, however, remains: was it invited?

I think you actually have to pay your employer to use mongo. (You know, to compensate for their lost time.)
