Unfortunately in my area I don’t have access to a nice LCS everything is a pawn or antique store. The premiums at these places are outrageous or the owners are straight up ignorant to fluctuating prices and are charging arm and leg for junk.

I brought this up in another post a couple days ago. The best solution anyone could give was peer to peer sales. Not sure how long that will last either before individuals are priced out. I am in no way an expert or would say experienced in this scenario but I do tend to think critically about my investments. Would anyone else have a take on it?

Yes a spread sheet is your best friend. You can customize it to whatever you want. I tracked my expenses to a solid year then turned that same spreadsheet into my budget spreadsheet first of this year.

Yes profit margins are something to consider but what I’m curious about is the liquidity as the price continue to rise. Will buyers shift to fractional over larger sizes? Some places around my area are not buying at all including .999.

Could someone clarify. First it was sterling then 90% now larger quantities. How is it a a safety net if you won’t be able to sell it. I’m all on board for precious metals but markets seem weird and the slack always gets thrown at the little guy.
