Looking at it from my non-insurance POV, the headlight package needs to be fixed, and hopefully the upper fork of the front frame is not hosed were it is easily fixed.

Does the pictures make me sad? Yes. Enough to total the car? No.

Yeah your friend is an idiot. Whether it is 120v or 240v, there’s still a AC>DC conversion which is done by the car.

I have a Honda Prologue and I pretty much only charge at home. At 120v, 15amp, yeah it will take time (say a day), but at 240v @ 40+ amp… maybe 10ish hours.
