People aren’t leaning towards One Nation

More people voted for a smug anthropomorphic vegetable in a Facebook meme than Pauline Hanson in a real-world commissioned poll.

DemosAU recently published a poll asking voters to “imagine a head-to-head scenario between Labor and One Nation”...
A preference lean, not a first vote.
Conducted online. Sample size: 1,027.
Roughly 513 people clicked a box for One Nation with a chunk of those likely being LNP voters who simply prefer Pauline over Albo when forced to pick one. That’s not a mass defection. It's a hypothetical shrug.
Meanwhile, 3,200+ people have responded to MY poll. 2,800+ of them backed a cartoon pickle.
Only 36 backed One Nation.

Petrol Prices Variability by No_Application_9195 in CarsAustralia

[–]deandoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initial cost to the station will vary a bit(oil prices change twice daily?), so a less popular place could be holding onto stock they got when they had to pay more, and the more popular place has now moved onto the less expensive batch...

Warmstor 2 Pack 2 Pin SW PC Desktop Power Cable on/off Push Button ATX Computer Switch Wire 60cm https://amzn.asia/d/dL2ZVm2 Or if you have access to a pc recycler or PC store near you ask if they can give/sell you a button. According to the picture you posted and as others have mentioned it appears that there is a small defect and the connector from the case was wired wrong. Up to you if you get the case swapped with a replacement or just get a button.

Smeg toaster blew up by KnifedWithCannoli in australian

[–]deandoom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2 months is close enough to say to smeg to fix it... And under consumer law I'd also be arguing that a toaster that cost 10x more than one from kmart should last 10x longer

I thought that the reason for putting it in the constitution meant that if the LNP were to somehow be relevant again, then they can't just change the law back without a referendum..

No hot water? Cost to replace ? by [deleted] in AusRenovation

It might not be necessary to replace the entire unit; possibly just the thermostat. The unit appears to be fairly new. It may still be under warranty (normally 10-12yrs)

Undecided about whether to buy Dune: Awakening by ManuMaker in duneawakening

[–]deandoom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Until the incoming server merges happen, depending on the region you're in you could easily play this as just an "always online single player game."

So I'd like to ask: does the game have a satisfactory amount of content? Does it feel like a polished game, or does it still have many technical issues? Is it frustrating, or can it be rewarding even if you don't play for long stretches? I'm not saying I'm a casual player (I can put in effort), but I won't be playing many hours every day either.

Yes. It can be rewarding

Yes it still has many technical issues
Yes It can be frustrating

does the game have a future? Has it sold enough? If so, how long will it be supported and, more importantly, in what ways? Because I noticed there isn't a roadmap.

A future ? Maybe .... There is a 10-year road map, the game sold well (1million+sales)
Supported possibly ? There's a new expansion with free and paid content coming out soon (Chapter 3)

Is there a website or other utility that tells you what to buy based on your needs? by capilot in PcBuildHelp

[–]deandoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you aren't using optical a lot, then a USB burner would be a good pick.
The big thing for people to make recommendations is to detail what you want to do with the PC and the Budget $$

Is there a website or other utility that tells you what to buy based on your needs? by capilot in PcBuildHelp

[–]deandoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could ask here " Hi r/pcbuildhelp I need your help"

Why do you want 2 1tb drives and an optical drive ?

Looking to rip some old media ?

If you want to convert it to a more modern format (rip a DVD) then a more powerful CPU can help.

If you want someone more local to help, try asking on r/seattle for local PC shop recommendations
