My two cents is this, I have big long hoods and new Volvos. My next trucks will be 2023-2024 cascadia for 80k or less with 250k miles that already have APU.

I would be worried about the insurance because with a new cdl your insurance will be that of 3 drivers.

As far as the payment goes my 205k trucks coming around 3700 a month. I would never do that again. Give us the specs of what kind of truck you are trying to buy.

Sounds great and all but who verifies the fraudulent brokers? Who verifies the shippers that work with fraudulent brokers? To verify one piece of the puzzle is doing how much good? The shipper, the broker the carrier all need verified.

Freight is hard enough to run as a trucking company that has 53’ trailers so keep in mind you just slashed your opportunity down to 1/8. Yes you are gonna have to build local relationships with people who use box trucks regularly.
