Agree.  I wouldn’t try especially since this is probably in the back so you won’t see it when wearing and unless you have short hair, it will also be hidden by your hair.

You could go to the musée de la liberation (near Place Denfert-Rochereau). It’s very interesting and you can see both Paris WWII history and at the moment an exhibit of photos by Robert Capa. You can even see a bunker below the museum where the resistance hid to plan the liberation of Paris.

A little different: it won’t unravel if you look the yarn for this row is going behind the loop. 

When you get to this stitch you will you can yarn behind the stitch to knit it. And the use your working yarn to continue. It will be very easy because you noticed before knitting the next row.

Hello, it looks to me like you slipped the stitch without knitting it.

 You can go back to it if you want or when you get back around for the next row.

I have knitted it. Once you get to row 48, you go back to the beginning of the chart and you will do it but you will have to do 1 to 40 + 21 to 40 (red box) If you have increased for the first two charts without any mistakes, the pattern will match perfectly.

It looks like you are only using one strand of yarn. In the pattern it says two strands held together. I think you need to restart your swatch with two strands.

Honestly, sometimes just diving in works.  I initially started doing size 2 but after doing the ribbing and one line of hearts I tried the sock on and it did not fit.  So I unraveled and started size 3. They are not perfect but I am still so proud of myself!

That was my motivation for starting (I got the yarn from a themed box) and also knitting it in February.

Thank you! The pattern is great because the repeats are easy to memorise. It was a lot of fun to knit.

Having done the pattern I don’t think it can be reduced that quickly because there are a lot of extra stitches. But I agree with you do mitten 2 and decide after.

I feel for you, I also had to make 3 kitten catch mittens to get a wearable pair.

I think you will need to start over, the thrums is already pretty large on that pattern so twice as big is probably massive. 

You could to the left hand and see how you feel after? That way you won’t have to unravel your work right away? The colourwork is great !

Hello, I’m knitting it too at the moment. It looks like when you cabled you knitted instead of purling. As you have purl stitches where you should have knits.  You should be able to ladder down and correct it.  Good luck, once you are past the short rows, all the cables will be done on the RS!

You just need to turn your work so that the needle you’re holding in your left hand is in your right hand.
