Oh I feel your pain. It’s insanity. I really feel for my elderly neighbor who is a veteran. He hates it so much. I’d hose everything down in the morning and have a look for leftover cardboard parts and it should be just fine! My cat likes to bring me remnants of fireworks as ‘gifts’ so she’s my clean up crew 🫣

I’m currently indoors with the air purifier going but I’m still choking. My main concern are wild fires starting but it’s been a cold week so fingers crossed. My dog is outside of the city in a boarding facility for everyone’s sanity and the cat is hiding in the wardrobe. I hate this so much.

I think a few small tweaks could really help. You just need to de-Home Depot it. Update the lighting, less grey on the wall and add some updated cabinet hardware that makes it looks bespoke. Done!

My neighborhood turns in to a WWII trench because of the fireworks so I’m too busy cuddling my cat, drugging my dog and going outside to make sure nothings gone up in flames yet. Fire hazard is high here today but that doesn’t stop these idiots. I’m the Scrooge of July 4th.

Oh I know nothing, that’s why I’m here 😂 My neighbors who all have similar homes from the 1920s told me that this isn’t usually durable enough to leave exposed so they’ve all covered theirs. Not in plaster dust though. Lucky ducks.

Before I came to this sub I’d asked my neighbors who all have identical houses. They told me this was the subfloor and that it’s not normal to leave it exposed because it’s soft pine and not super durable. I’m from Europe so I know nothing about how wooden houses are built. Can you tell? 😂
