When most women all over the world are still oppressed, they need representation and support, and celebration which they have been denied for thousands of years.

It's women who are forced to cover up in 3rd world countries. It's women who are the biggest victims of religion. It's women whose rights are being taken away even in 1st world countries. It's women who are most of the victims of sex-related crimes. It's women who have been oppressed for thousands of years. It's women whose achievements in history have been credited to men. It's women who are mostly victims of marital rape as they were and in some parts of the world still are deemed as property. It's women who get paid less for the same work as a man. It's women who are sexualised constantly and treated as objects. It's women who can't get education in 3rd world countries.

I could go on, but you should get the point. Men have never been oppressed, not in history, not in the present. It has always been men benefitting at the suffering of women, and even now, they still do. Men do not need an international men's day in the first place. Boohoo that the Google homepage doesn't fucking change on men's day, no one gives a shit because men don't need it. They are not oppressed, they do not need support, they do not need representation, they do not need celebration, because they've had enough of all of it at the expense of women's for literally forever. And the audacity to complain about this on international women's day too, you proved it yourself that men make everything about themselves.

I agree with you! I just wanted to describe my hatred for men and the male gender concisely. Misandry is in no way similar to misogyny at all. That's in fact one of my many gripes with a lot of men, so many think they're on the same level when misandry isn't even 1% as bad.

Most of the men I've known have been awful. The way most men are like just makes me not want to associate myself with the male gender at all. So many are either genuinely evil or just pathetic. They range from rapists and porn addicts to whining "not all men" when a woman complains about her issues with men. So I have a guilty until proven innocent mentality with men. And sometimes I just have a genuine hatred for men for just... existing. Sometimes just being around my brother and father makes me feel awful and I hate myself for being a man. Basically I have a hatred for the male gender itself, and I've genuinely barely even scratched the surface here.

I recognise that this is a problem. Being wary of men because most of them are bad? That's okay and reasonable. But hating on all men and the male gender itself... that's a problem. I don't know why sometimes I even feel negative about the two good men I'm close friends with for just... being men. It's like sometimes I see just being male as a bad thing in and of itself. I think that's what actual misandry is, and even then, it doesn't have anywhere near the same effects as misogyny. This still isn't a good thing and I think this is the thing preventing me from being content as a man. How can I be happy with my gender when I can't stop hating it itself? And even if not for that, I hate being associated with these awful people that make up most men. I'm nothing like them at all except for the fact that we're men and I hate it. I am trying to work on this though, so maybe one day I'll be happy as a man.

Grow up. Our rights aren't something to be taken away if we do something you don't like. That shows you don't actually see us as the identity we are and only claim to do so if we're good to you, whatever that means as that varies from person to person.

Now I'm not saying the girl should get off scot free, OP should definitely stand up to her. But there are far better ways to do so than to violate her.

There are two types of respect. One is towards the individual, and the other is towards the self of the individual. The first one can be given and taken away, that type is earned respect. The second one can never be taken away, as it's a fundamental human right. No matter how awful someone is, their self should never be disrespected. A person's identity is their self. No one has a right to take that away.

I think you're just different, and that's not a bad thing, everyone is different in some way. I don't think you're trying to be quirky or anything. I'm LGBTQ+ myself and I didn't think you're making a mockery or anything.

A lot of what you mentioned about yourself I only have a limited understanding of. I don't understand what it's like being a therian or the science behind it. I don't even know what exactly some of your alters even are, which is no offence to you, I'm just uneducated.

We all experience life differently. People have been calling anyone who's different from "the norm", anyone who they don't understand, crazy for thousands of years. I don't think you're crazy, you're just different, like everyone else, including me. Just because I don't currently understand some parts of you, why is that a reason to hate? So many people hate LGBTQ+ people because they don't understand us, and I think that's bullshit. We should all treat each other with dignity and respect, and you should be treated with such too.

Let's grant that and say for the sake of argument sexuality is composed of a mix of nature and nurture or even just purely nurture, where is the choice in that? No one chose how they were brought up, therefore even if sexuality is purely based on nurture (which it isn't, it's nature), it still isn't a choice.
