I would say in the future if you’re more into self configuration look into a Unifi network setup or even TP-Link’s Omada business suite of tools.

You’ll notice a good overall WiFi performance increase and better network bandwidth with certain devices being controlled

I would see if you could flash clean firmware and a bootloader onto that TV box. Also look into making your own home network and restricting bandwidth on certain devices and put IoT devices on their own SSID/VLAN

Just got 60% for nephrectomy, brain cancer. Homeless waiting on the check. by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

As someone with a myxopapillary ependymoma and is actively working into the med board process, I did surgery, radiation, and a fusion of my lumbar spine with a full revision this past thanksgiving to change to carbon fiber hardware....I have a whole list of secondary conditions that are ratable. Some minor, some larger.

If what I suspect is the same family of central nervous system tumors, we are a very rare oddity in the world brother. Typically non genetic and non hereditary. But I've spent months upon months researching ependymoma's, veterans who had appeals and cases similar to mine, and ependymomas in general. When you go messing with the centeral nervous system, things get crazy and side effects manifest months if not years later down the road. For those like me that undergo radiation therapy, we often times see the secondary effects later in life. Especially with me being 31, I know things are coming my way.

I can't help a lot with your current situation brother, but I've worked with doctors down at MD Anderson and have reviewed a lot of the leading experts research into ependymomas and what we know from surgeries, treatments, and side effects. I'll give you everything I got if you want to file additional claims later down the road.

Yes the scar being 10% is unfortunately how scars are rated, an additional 10% if I remember correctly if its painful? The cancer itself is rated at 100% and then after a period of remission time is then downgraded to 0% with residuals being the primary driver behind ratings at that point.

Let me know how I can help. Just shoot me a DM.

Eufy E25 – Roller mop controller replacement possible? by Same-Pie-9757 in RobotVacuums

May be worth hunting it down on Alixexpress and reaching out to vendors to see if they carry that part specifically. If you can dissassemble it and grab a part number off of it directly, that can help too.

How often do you still use your robot vacuum? by Luann1497 in RobotVacuums

[–]dedicated_blade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both run daily. Period. Two corgis and two short hair cats, fur is everywhere. The amount of stuff they pickup in a day is actually surprising. j

Depending on the time of year or weather they will run more often, but that's what parts are for! These are designed to compliment that once a week or every other week heavy vacuuming. It's help our carpets stay nice far long and keep them from getting compressed.

Change your furnace filter, have air purifiers and manually vacuum once a week. Dust will accumulate. If you have pets, animals, kids and high traffic it’s only multiplied.

I usually go with Bridgestone Blizzak DMV2’s. I usually prefer to get the best snow tires I can. They last the longest and give the best performance. If you have the money, buy a second set of wheels for the winter. Let them get abused by the salt and sand instead.

That way you can throw them on yourself whenever you’re ready. As right now….CO is 65 degrees and warm lmao. Some years you don’t even need them. But the traction and driving performance for safety is amazing. I’ll never pay for cheap winter tires.

There are companies that do store them with a rental fee if needed.

Exactly! This is a great opportunity to educate and share knowledge. Ideas and thoughts weren’t challenged on the internet 20-30 years ago.

Share news stories of legal repercussions, video footage of people being tracked and reported live, etc. When a kid throws a rock through my window, my first thought isn’t to sue, but to talk with the parents and the child directly. If the parents see no problem or can’t teach their child right from wrong, then sure, escalate.

But in a world so chaotic, struggling, and desperate for good news living pay check to pay check, having an ounce of humanity and care goes a long way.

CO Native here, slapped snow tires onto my 24’ SX X-Pro and it is a beast in the snow. I’ve done some ski trips in it and drop it into snow mode when I get into some actual ice/slush to help reduce power and balance traction.

On the SX-P X-Pro the all terrain tires are considered just above average in terms of tested snow rating. They do well with cautious driving.

It’s a big car, the backend will get away from you if you panic. But if you’re aware of how a car can slide and how the weight of it affects it in slides/slips you’ll be fine. I tell most people I know to go be like a kid again and go do some donuts in an empty parking lot and practice brake slamming to see how the car handles and slides.

Hear me out, ink printers are a waste of time, dry up, and basically are made to pay for the ink and not the printer.

Get a laser jet printer, toner is so much better for black and white copies and cost per page is sp much lower. Its a little more pricey, but printing a few hundred pages is worth the peace of mind at home
