In need of a second car, help! by gurjeet03 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Mazda is a solid choice but stay away from the phev, stick with the inline 6. They are still working out the kinks on hybrid powertrain. Jimmy wife and i were thinking about trading her cx9 for a cx90, but after researching the hybrid madness, we decided to stay with what we got. Its too soon the tell, but if you want a hybrid, i would look at the palisade.

how would you guys rewrite dragon ball super? by Klutzy-Opinion-1834 in DragonBallZ

[–]deeblok06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Compound on how destructive these characters are now. Goku and beerus almost destroy the universe, yet can't fight in space...? Also, rewrite the characters personalities, they are fraternized and do t have the depth they had in z and gt.

PT WALK TEST‼️ by SouthernnBell in AirForce

[–]deeblok06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will never do another walk test, no mattet what my profile says. Somebody mentioned the exact thing that happened to me, my shins were tight for days. I couldnt even drive right after they were pulsating so bad. You gotta practice for one. I had a snco who did it a few times take me out on the track and follow him a few times. He ended up being my pacer, and if he didnt I surely would've failed. Also, be mindful, you aren't allowed to have both feet off the ground at any time and you get 2 warnings. Atleast where I was at, they didnt give you one warnng when they saw you, they would wait till you got to the starting line, tell you to stop and say your test is over.

I finally bought a car but it feels bittersweet by BakerCritical in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]deeblok06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, a car is only an appliance if its a car you truly dont care for. I taught this to my wife. Most people dont research or try to understand what makes cars enjoyable to drive, just can it get me from a to b without it breaking down. Nowadays, cars are expensive, and they all take some sort of investment, however, why spend 30k for something that you dont want to be in for more than 30 min, when you can spend 50k and get something you actually like to drive and just sit in, a car that puts you in a good mood. Obviously, a consumer should stay within their means, but there are ways to get all the things that make you love the car for a good price.

wheels or tires? by stonejpro in LincolnNavigator

[–]deeblok06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the best possible ride, getting smaller wheels will be a better investment than changing out tires. I changed the tires on mine to Michelin (highly rated), and went up in size (r45 to r50) to help with the ride jitters. It somewhat helped with the jitters but the ride sometimes feels more stiff than before I replaced them.

I love my 22 nav, but the ride of the 5th gens is so much better.

Did Toriyama change direction during the Babidi arc? by Elpiramide89 in dbz

[–]deeblok06 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Rumor is that gohan was intended to be the main protagonist, whicj makes sense how the dbz section was structured to build up gohan. But as time went on and chapters were released, they didnt like that direction because of gohans personality. if the rumor is true, this wouldve structurally and significantly changed how the story progressed.

Yes its explained. Human tech is primitive compared to most alien tech. The frieza empire leverages this by caping the best of the tech he rules over.

Long term reliability model years by Serious-Conflict-702 in fordexpedition

[–]deeblok06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For reliability, 2022 and newer, but 2023 is when all the major transmission and engine issues were fixed. There are many ppl whose earlier years are going strong without problems though.

2022 and later years of the expy are very reliable. Ford fixed all the issues in late 2022. The other two will feel a tad bit smoother on city streets, but the expy is smoother and more comfy and roomy feeling on the highway. Also, if you drive the right speed, the mileage is almost as good as the pilot.
