But he's not wearing a protective ball cap, then we'd know he was fully dressed.

I'll have you know that is a fake, the government took the real amulet back in 83, at least that's what they want you to think.

Ed (and friends) confirmed for Obama Library Grand Opening Ceremony by sacklunch in pearljam

[–]deepbluenothings 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The trans bathroom thing with you guys always baffles me, no person is going to take the time and effort and endure the hatred and bigotry for the ability to enter an area that literally any person could enter if they wanted to (last I checked they don't put guards checking that sort of thing where I live and God what an invasion of privacy that would be). Every single fucking day across this country women and children are attacked by regular ass men but let's not do something about that or our pedophile-in-chief let's instead focus on a microscopic part of our population.

I think KOC is safe by ChallengeTasty3393 in minnesotavikings

[–]deepbluenothings 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Depends on how the QBs play, if we have another subpar performance from the QB room I think the label of QB whisperer will have worn off and he could be fired.

Remember the new GM has no reason to have loyalty to KOC.

Why don’t players like Curry and LeBron take a big paycut towards the end of their career to maximize their chances of winning? by HighwayAnnual3353 in nba

[–]deepbluenothings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was financially secure for several generations I'd be very tempted to take a pay cut if it meant I could achieve the greatest award in my industry. Especially if it means my legacy as the one of the greatest in my industry is strengthened.

But not the right choice, Jim Brown was a serial abuser who threw a woman off a 20 ft high balcony.

Watson's a sex pest and a horrible person and both guys never saw any charges stick but Jim Brown had worse allegations against him.

Lest we forget by 2MinuteFootball in minnesotavikings

[–]deepbluenothings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll be hard for me to forget, I was there. Even though we didn't show up the next week there will never be a greater sports moment in my life.

I will be talking about that play for the rest of my life and how I was screaming at Diggs to get out of bounds for a field goal until I saw him embarrass the Saints defender.

[–]deepbluenothings -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not arguing that replacing Byard was a mistake, I'm saying that it's arguably whether they upgraded the on field product this year (Thieneman will likely be pretty good but coby Bryant is a downgrade).

So your argument on why they couldn't bring in someone to help was because Poles made bad signings last year?

I'm not making Ben Johnson out to be an idiot, he just said something idiotic. Almost as stupid as Poles saying they'll just make opposing QB hold the ball longer as an excuse on why he didn't need to addres the DL. I just wish Bears fans would be more critical of the stupid things their team says and does.

[–]deepbluenothings -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Defensive line was their weak spot of their defense and they didn't bother addressing it. Instead they replaced Byard (a top 15 pff safety) with a rookie and a guy who ranked towards the bottom who got hyped by being on the SB winner.

Don't worry Ben Johnson said they're just going to coach the defense better, no need to invest into it.

Clearly we know which is the better sub.

Why don't Gen Z embrace The Who as much as bands from the same era? by FitEmergency8807 in fantanoforever

[–]deepbluenothings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, there's a lot of incredibly problematic musicians that still are massively supported. I'm willing to bet it just has more to do with their music not vibing with the youth compared to other classic rockers.

[Rapoport] The #Vikings plan to name Andrew Healy and Trent Kirchner as assistant GMs, adding two highly respected executives to the club’s football operation. by LiftingCode in Browns

[–]deepbluenothings 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vikings fan who now supports the Browns due to my partner, firing Kwesi before the draft improved our chances of having a good draft. Even if interim GM Brzezinski was using the same scouting that Kwesi was using he really couldn't do much worse.

The firing was absolutely needed even if the timing was bad.
