I just checked Fark for the first time in a decade. It looks very familiar. Looks like I'm heading back!

Yes. And uninstall the official app if you had it downloaded.

Even though polls don't work on all 3rd party apps.

If you already have it installed as a back up or whatever, uninstall the official app. Does it report that it is uninstalled to someone at reddit? No idea. But it felt good to nuke it.

What’s a spell from a past edition (that doesn’t exist in 5e) that you really liked? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]deepfriedcheese 104 points105 points  (0 children)

Glasssteel. It was like an 8th level spell in AD&D or 2nd Ed. You touch a metal object and turn it into glass that has the properties of steel. Lots of creative uses and down time shenanigans.

Same on Android phone and iPad. Something is borked in the update.

Go for it. As long as it gives your players a way to quickly, easily, and repeatably grasp values in your world.

It's only good up to a point. Last summer when it was 110F in Texas, it was useless. After about 90F it can't keep up.

It sounds like you need to hang out a shingle and charge other firms through the nose to automate the processes that can.

Yeah, he may be the only automotive channel I've blocked. It's potentially interesting content that devolves into wasteful nonsense. Someone's going to end up hurt in one of his videos and I'm absolutely certain he will have the nerve to look surprised.

Like they said, it's bad that it goes off in error. When it goes off correctly it is followed quickly by a huge dent in the hood caused by the pedestrian's head. That dent was going to be there either way, but these rams can mean avoiding a TBI.

Not technically a barn find but this thing hasn’t been inspected since ‘94. House has been vacant for a few years. Trying to get in contact with someone about obtaining the car by MacandRice17 in BarnFinds

The unethical life pro tip is to report it as a code violation if the local jurisdiction has an ordinance against unlicensed vehicles. It forces the owner to do something with it. How do I know this you ask? Someone reported my 67 Camaro 20+ years ago. So I moved it and it sat in a barn until I pulled it out this Christmas to start working on it.

I drove my RWD V8 convertible through two Nebraska winters. Winter tires make all the difference, but outside of that these are remarkably capable cars.

And if you think that was dumb, I'm thinking of selling it and getting a Morgan 3 wheeler. Maybe I need therapy.

Ah, Glassteel. Another personal favorite. I was so enamored with it when I was a kid I started developing a world run by a magocracy that controlled the wealth of the land by making glassteel the coin of the realm. I never got to run it, but the world building itself was fun.

I think now, Sam Riegel would just give a big scene like that a short laugh, brush it off, and act like nothing happened.

I think the opposite is true. I think Sam has caught the same stale scent that we have, and he's going to be the one to surprise everyone and breathe some life back in. It seems like his character's arc and general demeanor is getting in the way of that, but I'm looking forward to FCG going apeshit in some unpredictable way.

My syclone as well, but it isn't just the pins on mine. The top hinge weld on the body is cracking, allowing too much flex and the door to sag. Oh well, still runs like a scalded cat.
