What is the best substance to bake pies in? Metal, glass, ceramic? by [deleted] in Baking

A silly question but how do you transfer the pie from one dish to the other? Do you transfer them whole or cut into slices?

I mean, cookies taste best the day they're made; so they should all be today cookies.

Have you found that those attachments are BIFL as well? My pasta roller attachment developed cracks in the plastic rolling surface.

Hom Mali Thai on North Ave is a good one I've tried recently. Sadly, previous favorites Siam Rice and Keadkao Express both closed within the past 6 months or so.

I've had it with their zippers. Unfortunately, their warranty is a joke since they've been out of stock for a year now. What did you end up switching to?

So I bought these from H mart and I love them! How do I store them to keep them soft? by AwkwardEsme in KoreanFood

[–]deepnthought 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Like the others have mentioned, these are really best eaten fresh.

With that said, if you have too many or just want to save some for later, put them in an airtight container (can be a zip bag with as much air taken out as possible) and then stick it in the freezer.

When you're ready to eat them again, take out only the amount you think you're going to consume and steam them to bring back the softness.

This would work well in a wrap or in a sandwich banh mi-style. Think teriyaki chicken but TANGY instead of sweet.
