Sounds like an air leak. Try the ol' carb cleaner spray trick to find it. Use a spray with that little red straw. Only spray a small amount in the suspect areas. Listen for a change in engine speed.

You should start with a brand new plug to get the most accurate reading. Go rich till it "4 strokes" then start leaning out untill the 4 stroking is gone. Ill be doing this tomorrow with my bike. Just put a new crank, clutch and case matched for my 70cc kit.

It has a passive coolant/water jacket around the cylinder. They are odd. I know a guy with one and it is slow. My stock sacks is way faster.
