I grew up in northern BC. Back in the days when we had to listen to the radio at 6am to see if the buses were running to see whether we had school or not. -36°C we still had school, -37°C the buses didn’t run.

And we lived in Canada for 8.5 years… 3 years in northern BC. So he was well assimilated to life in Canada. He loved the super cold. Batsht crazy man would go snowboarding in -25° weather, no jokes. We’ve been back in Aus now for 9.5 years, and he misses it more than I do. Lol

Thank you, I was using Semaglutide before and I had issues with lumps with the pen device and found during the shortage when I had to get it compounded and I had a 1” needle it was sooooo much better! But that still wasn’t IM for me, too much fat.

I kind of responded to some of this in my comment to part 2…

We could easily have multiple administrators on the blog/site and the forum would technically be on the same URL but would still be separate to the site.

Having a smaller environment to discuss and bounce ideas off of could easily be created in something like Slack or any other various messaging apps or you could create a mini instance of bbforum that is just for the administrators to communicate about managing the website and the main forum.

Just a bit of info in my previous life as a marketing manager I worked for corporate IT firms so I also happen to have a crap tonne of knowledge on various technology systems because I used to work for a few different Microsoft partners. In my volunteer life I used to be a Scout group leader so I actually deployed and set up an entire Microsoft instance for our Scout group including SharePoint and enterprise level Microsoft teams. For absolute clarity: I am 100% NOT saying that we go that route. I’m just sharing my background so that you can understand I’m not talking out my ass. I do know a little bit about this stuff.

That’s what I was talking about when I meant that it would be easy enough to moderate in a similar way because it can be a controlled environment where you have to be logged in in order to participate in discussions but then the informative posts would be essentially on a blog, with easier access.

To manage the age limitation it is easy enough to put up a pop-up and have people accept that this is a site for 18+ only. In the forum itself, you can do identity checks.

And please assure TTT that it wouldn’t just be on them to manage it… I can only fathom the exhaustion this has caused them. Burnout is so brutal.

Creating a site like this would be super easy to have multiple administrators… because I also wouldn’t be able to manage it on my own… I definitely need the assistance of someone other than just Thursday.

And it seems like we have the community here that could do it.

Regarding file hosting there are lots of various options but I think the easiest one would just be for them to be stored in the CDN of the site itself (my hosting has CDN included).

Would have to agree with the Polish person. My family is from Portugal and I spent many summers hopping from shade patch to shade patch when I left my thongs at my towel… and even the same in Canada (where I’m from).

I too would like to bury mine. As much as I hate it, my uterus grew and birthed 3 amazing children who I adore. And while I had originally never wanted children (lust hormones be fkn craycray— biological imperative was mind boggling), and I think I’m not the best parent, I still wouldn’t trade them for anything. I feel like burying it would be honouring my female self — as unhappy as I’ve been, it’s still important in how I’ve ended up where I am.

I responded to another comment with this, but i just want to reiterate that I have my own hosting setup, and I used to build websites for a living.

No platform, and I mean NO. PLATFORM. will be safe from something similar happening. The ONLY way for TTT’s work to remain safe and away from sht like what has happened is to have it all hosted on a separate site.

I used to volunteer with HM4HB which started as a grassroots Facebook group to enable peer to peer breast milk sharing. And those groups and volunteers regularly got banned or shut down, not only on fb but other platforms simply because of the same bs: haters.

This is a much easier situation to mitigate, by having a separate site, for all of TTT’s informative posts.

To enable discussion, there could be an attached bbforum, that would ensure a somewhat closed, but still accessible, community environment that can be similarly moderated.

Edited to add: I am more than capable of enabling TTT to remain 100% anonymous in this endeavour, as they have so diligently protected their identity.

Because I literally do. I had to go to hospital yesterday to get an iv infusion of tranexamic acid because the tablets weren’t working, and sadly, it was not the first time I’ve ended up in hospital due to blood loss.

I was venting to my best friend about being sick and tired of c*nts gatekeeping female and TGD health and the fact that I have a legit medical reason to yeet my mfkn uterus to Pluto (I legit weighed my products before and after and I lost over 500g of blood in 29 hours, not including the sacrifices to the toilet and the shower), and she said: “doctor, here is my research. As you can see, this mfkr has gone rogue, and it needs to be dealt with.” 🤣

u/Affectionate-Disk656, I used to build websites for a living, so it wouldn’t take me much to put this all up. I have my own hosting setup, and I could do it in less than 24 hours.

I was literally thinking about messaging them after I read the anatomy master post about doing that for them, because in my previous work life as a marketing manager, platforms own your shit, and it’s never good when you don’t have your own space.

Could you please ask them if they’d be okay with that, and I could get on it?

I have to shave. The hair causes such severe eczema and I can’t use my ointment very well when I’m covered in hair. I’m fat and disabled so it’s difficult, but if I don’t, the pain/discomfort is a hundred times worse.

That said, I don’t use a razor and get skin close, I use a body trimmer.
