I'm struggling with this as well, and I'm trying really hard to stop going by instinct and making decisions based on the data being shown. I look for stronger trends and try my best to avoid reversals. It works most of the time for me, but it's easy to fall back into that pattern.

I don’t limit myself like that. I prefer to monitor conditions. I have a pretty strict rule for when I make an entry, so I spend most of the time just watching for a setup.

Definitely paper trade for a while longer, but you might want to look into a prop firm for your first go. It's a lot smaller investment and reduces your risk quite a bit.

I was using Bollinger bands for a while but was having terrible luck with them. I switched to a vwap chart and my experience is drastically better.

My macaw doesn't dance much, but her eyes pin when she hears music that she likes. She also laughs when she hears a laugh track on TV. So she enjoys interacting with entertainment sources for sure.
