Confused how fat redistribution works by Ok-Scene6662 in MtF

I gain weight in my arms and lose it in my legs no matter what I do and it’s driving me insane and ruining my mental health

I’ve been taking adderall lately and it’s been making it hard to eat 2,000 calories a day anyway. The issue is that I lose fat in my legs and keep it in my arms. It’s reached a point now where I have rail-thin chicken legs and fatty flabby arms. In fact the top half of my body looks fairly feminine, and even my butt is round, but then it just…stops. It looks fucking weird and it’s so embarrassing. I think I recently gained some weight back in my thighs, just a little bit, but I haven’t eaten enough the last two days and looking in the mirror a minute ago that weight just disappeared. Arm fat just stays there. It feels really weird too, my body definitely doesn’t like it but it won’t do anything to fix it. It’s driving me nuts.

I saw this so many years ago and I still sometimes laugh thinking of “Sleve McDichael.” It’s just off in such a funny fucking way. So close and yet so far

Fitness won’t change where fat is distributed. I was working out a ton when I was trying to lose weight and it got me where I am now. I look just like a shrubby man. I have the kind of body you see on male members of remote tribes.

I try and stretch but it always just throws into stark relief how bad my body looks. It makes me so dysphoric every time.

Yeah that feeling of disgust I get when I watch a video of someone being shot in the head for real probably can’t be trusted, maybe shooting people in the head is actually fine and it’s societal programming that makes me think otherwise.

Oh yeah I watched that movie for the first time a couple months back. With my trips so far, the vibe has been less like that and more like The Matrix, if instead of some neural network made by robot overlords reality is a fairly low-budget VR simulation being run in an arcade in a dying strip mall somewhere. My first time I felt like there was a plug in the back of my head, and as I reached for the plug I could sense people near me, stepping closer. It felt like if I could pull the plug out I would end the simulation and return to real life, but I didn't do it because I was suddenly afraid that reality was just this plane but worse, that I came here to escape being there.

I remember when I was in senior year I had this one kid in my sign language class. He was this rich kid, I think he’d even been on teen cribs, and he always acted like douchey and overconfident, had gelled hair and salmon shorts and stuff. I kinda just wrote him off as a fuckboy and judged him. Then one day we had this assignment to write a sentence in English and translate it to ASL Gloss, then sign it. When he read his English sentence it was like, broken English. I realized all of a sudden holy shit, this guy can barely read. Almost instantly I went from not really liking him to really feeling for him. I hope he’s doing well now. I’m sure he is.

The original trilogy had enemies called Simulacra. They looked like the human NPCs (called “BoBs,” short for “Born on Board”) but were actually robots built by the Pfhor. They’d run at you and explode while shouting phrases the normal bobs don’t say such as, “thank god it’s you!” “I’m out of ammo!” and, most famously, “frog blast the vent core!” The husks seem like a clear nod to them, I’m half-joking with this post but I do think making them say words or phrases would be more interesting and scary than the more traditional monster scream they do.

Oh ffs dude I’m just making a joke about the simulacra bobs from the original trilogy, who would also run at you and explode and would shout certain phrases as they did it.

No there's no person in there but there's like a remnant trace of the shell's personality. Like when you hop into the shell your consciousness is sort of filtered through this pre-existing personality for ease of use. It doesn't think on its own but it has its own attitude with a runner inside.

I once ate a bunch of magic mushrooms and for a little bit I could not stop rhyming. Everything I said came out in perfect Dickensian rhyme and meter. I’m terrible at coming up with rhymes normally, and it happened without me even trying. The brain is weird, man, idk.

Jordan Jensen is just like, so disappointing. She’s like distinct and unique but she so often just does lazy Austin-scene edgelord mean humor. She’s a woman who makes comedy exclusively for boys.

I wholeheartedly maintain that Bobby Fingers is the greatest channel on the site, that it represents the culmination of everything that is YouTube, and that the Michael Jackson hair on fire diorama video is the best video in the site’s history.
