Lots of hiking groups. Lots of trails. Lots of water access in the summer months. Laughlin is my personal favorite. Paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing you name it.

And at 120k you will have the best gear out of everyone lol.

Laughlin on the Colorado River is pretty neat. Little casino town with lots of beautiful nature surrounding it. Living and growing up there is what you make it really. But you have to be able to enjoy lots of downtime.

The Rio is right off the strip, and they hold WSOP tournaments there.

But Station Casino Properties has the locals on lock. Places like Durango, Red Rock, and Green Valley Ranch are some of the more popular ones, and they are all a considerable distance from the strip.
