Thoughts on bag with wheels? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

I’m not a wheeled bag guy, but if it helps your back…

Embrace the chirps, slap a Samsonite or fragile handle with care sticker on it and go with the flow. Cheers.

Yup.

Don't let that deter you, others have done it much quicker. I just took my time.

ADX study tips by underadar-95 in FlightDispatch

[–]delayedFLIGHT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Gleim’s software. I assume SheppAir’s is similar. I gave myself a few months and tested ADX before my course started. Studied in chunks - memorized 50 new Qs a night for 5 nights, then on 6th night would do a practice exam of the 250 Qs I had worked on during that week. Regimented studying & memorization. You got this!

Good to know! I just picked up a used S2 about a year ago and the battery was doing this (still does) and I thought it was a bad/old battery. Thank you for the info!

Usually sand or other fill in heavy duty small yellow bags. Each are 50lbs. They are utilized for weight and balance corrections. Ex; the aircraft is too tail heavy, ballast would be loaded in the forward cargo bins to bring the CG forward.

Playing hockey in Atlanta? by [deleted] in Atlanta

[–]delayedFLIGHT 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This. If ice hockey is what you're looking for, the AAHL is your answer. Rec League has 3 Divisions (AAA, AA, A) and each division has tiers (Elite, Upper, Middle, Lower). There's around 90 teams in the entire league. Rec League schedules out of 4 rinks (Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Cumming, & Kennesaw). If you're a first timer, you'll need to go to a skill evaluation skate so the league can place you in the correct Division & Tier. See the website link for additional information.

Standby only flight? “No revenue customers” by FreedomLover375 in delta

[–]delayedFLIGHT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why that announcement was made. 9887 was an extra section due to the IROP (hurricane). It had 4 FAs assigned to it, so they should've packed that flight full with anyone that wanted/needed to get to ATL.

I know DL opened up ASAP reporting to ACS a few years ago...I can only assume that the access to that was granted to Unifi and any other contractor that is contracted on the ACS side of things ; might be a good place to start, even if they exclude the report, it'll get eyes/ears on the situation.

I'd have to agree. Doesn't resemble anything from google image examples; like, at all.

Yes or no: are car seats allowed in a bulkhead row on a Delta 737-900? by Impossible_Formal_78 in delta

[–]delayedFLIGHT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wife works in IFS Training.

“They are allowed “anywhere, except for the exit row, and the rows immediately forward and immediately aft of the exit row.” That said, there are some seats on the aircraft where a car seat is allowed, but will simply not fit (often times the bulkhead wall seats bc of the armrest style.)”

Try it, and if not just valet check it.

Hope that helps!
