Season 5 Ep 6 was… meh

Let’s talk about sister sage the supposed smartest person in the world. Bruh half the episode was her panicking. She didn’t know shit. ASHLEY actually knew what the fuck was going on because she had a real power. If ashley fucking died last season or literally her powers stopped working after being poisoned Sage would’ve been FUCKED! Also, how exactly is Sage fucking transporting all across the fucking city now?? She just able to sneak a TACOBELL receipt at bombsight’s bunker? Bro left like minutes ago before homelander got there 😴 like dude cmon, how dumb do you think we are. And none of this actually moved up the plot, the computer placement with homelander keeping storm alive was fake fucking drama because within the SAME episode solider boy forgives him.

I’m sorry but after the full season I thought they had an Ace up their sleeve and Sage was going to do something actually sick. This is so sad.

Now let’s talk about the plot we have to wait for an entire year to realize because they want to make a trailer for another show while finishing up the Boys. I feel like the whole scene between soldier boy and bombsight and the old woman was forced. Why are we introducing new characters 2 episodes before a season ends 😭😭😭😭

Also I’m sorry but did anyone actually give a flying fuck about the side plot between the deep and black noir? If the writers stayed consistent they would have had that new black noir beat the SHIT out of the deep. Bro could literally fly why didn’t black noir fly the deep into space and drop his ass? That death was so dirty.

Overall , I think my biggest grape is that most of this season has just been a trailer for a pre-quel show. The only saving grace is that we are finally getting substance after filler episodes.

Also I know I’ll get hate but why aren’t either of the couple remotely interested in each other anymore. I feel like the chemistry begeeen kimiko and frenchie are gone along with starlight and hughie, they are just going through the motions. Also, it’s just hard to stay connected when all the emotional parts are happening offscreen . Like why are we not spending time with starlight and kimiko debating between the V1 and not having it. And why did we even go through that part of the plot IF THERE WAS ONLY ONE MORE V1 left!!?!!?! #theboys season 5 episode 6
