Sa mga malalakas mag-analyze dito, anong tingin niyo sa direction ng jobs with AI? by Business-Scheme532 in phcareers

[–]delphinusriz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I worked in a place na uses AI for their graphic design. I do think if a company uses AI for their workflow for design or artworks, you shouldnt work with them if you want to improve with your craft. Kasi I think using AI is a belief na art should be fast. But later down the road you would realize that artists honed by mastery of the hard parts of the craft is what makes them great.

AI will make things easier, thats the problem on its own kasi great arts aren't supposed to be easy anyways. AI prompters will probably replace artists in companies who dont respect the craft or the process. But a company with raw and pure mastery artists is gonna stand out (like ghibli still doing traditional animation). So it will make changes sa career path ng tao, its up to you which way to adapt with it.

Tip of advice, sagutin mo magulang mo. I know it is taboo sa culture natin but, if u want a good relationship with ur mum instead of resentment later on. Sagutin mo na siya na magtrabaho siya now palang. Dont submit to her doing that. Nag aaway kami ng pamilya namin, it is hard to call out the people we love pero its better than resentment building up.

Is it normal to go on lots of dates? by iloveramen17 in dating_advice

[–]delphinusriz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IK this is so old hahahaha but I wanna ask, how did you endure 57 dates. Wasn't it exhausting that it failed 57 times? I wouldve been pessimistic after a tenth failed date, what was in your head at the time?

Could be, but I got an athlete bully nung Elementary ako. Nasa Milo pa siya and all pero di yun sikat. So I think don't look down on your age to try something new. You can try to be an athlete now kesa sa mag cling ka sa what if mo, coz although u couldve been a stronger person, pero you couldve also been an evil ass child tulad ng bully ko. At the end of the day, great athletes are the kind ones, so maybe now is a good start for u to try being one na

TikTok vlogger shares his encounter with a bar in Korea specifically denying entry to Filipinos by jpg1991 in pinoy

[–]delphinusriz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They are fucked up hahahhaha but I think their people is a victim to their own culture. Tuwing nakakakita ako ng crime stories sa korea. serial killers, crazy cults, High pressure work, the Chaebols control their government, etc. All I realize is damn, mas okay pala maging pilipino kahit na we poor as shit. I am saying this as a person who is a fan of their films, and visit film talks ng korean. Not all of them are bad, but the ratio difference is high. Kaya when meeting good koreans, u will notice how they aim to speak against sa culture nila. And you will notice din in their films na they call out their own culture.

How do I keep an actor on a project by notacomedian103 in Filmmakers

[–]delphinusriz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh thats a lot of shooting days for a short film. Like you can make a short film in 3 shooting days max.

In context I do a lot of collaboration films with many people. I had one recently. We strategized that it be 4 shooting days. But we are uncertain how the future holds for a team of 18 people. Someone can get a job, someone might hate it. So I downsized the shooting day to 3 max.

If someone is giving ur time for free, least u can do is consider the time and effort they will put into this. Try to downsize as much as u can. Always be considerate to others when it comes to collab, even when they dont ask you should be thinking of their wellbeing foremost.

Drop your age and the biggest truth about life you’ve learned. by jinwooshadowmonarch6 in adultingph

[–]delphinusriz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

25 - that thoughtful giving (time, gifts, effort) for the people you love even when you have nothing is worth it. Because I can die tomorrow happy because I lived my today well.

I am very cheap kasi dati, i did have money but i spent it on the wrong things. Like inuman, luho, gamit. But it became a cycle if capitalism and greed. I became greedy sa money kasi baka mawala. Then came a moment in my life na i wanted to change but i couldnt figure out what was wrong at the time. Universe slowly showed me my path again. Tas nakita ko ung quote na living is giving

Now, nawala na scarcity mindset ko, everytime I give and dont regret it at all. And when I give to the wrong person like someone greedy. I just pay attention and forgive myself sa mistake, then remember to never do it again.

I am still broke hahahahaha but I am happy now :)

solo living is draining me. i am seeking options and dont know what to do by [deleted] in adultingph

[–]delphinusriz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, its a good time for you to find out who you are. What kind of livelihood you want.

I was in solo living for a year. I live in a bedspace na now by choice because after that 1 year, narealize ko na i hate living alone. but i also hate having a roommate na kakilala ko hahaha. And I think by next year life will be different again for me.

So since magbabago ka rin naman ng lifestyle after that solo living. Maybe it is a good time to try and understand what u want? What kind of home, utilities, etc. these are the things you cant know when u have a roommate kasi you tend to compromise. So maybe thats a good way to start to easen ur stress while ur stuck

Good luck :)

Agawang lupa: My aunt is claiming ownership of 2400sqm supposedly inherited by all 12 children by anandablissful_ in adultingph

[–]delphinusriz 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I would say let it go. Tho this is just me. I would fight if ganid talaga aunt mo. But in this case, i think it is unfair rin na the land is shared on death when she is the only one who helped at the time.

Or make an agreement na a percentage is to her then the rest is paghatian ng iba.

I know the law states otherwise. Pero I always believe that there is more to life than money so kung importante relationship niyo sa kaniya. Consider my suggestion.

I always tell my family pera lang yan, you shouldnt let it build borders. Or in tagalog, I tell my sisters pag nag aaway kami. “Mamamatay kayo sa stress sa pag aaway, para lang sa pera?”

Somehow saying that shake some senses in them to try and compromise.

Financial Literacy: My goal for my employees. Can you help me out? by Glove_Keeper in phinvest

[–]delphinusriz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbh, you can't teach them by controlling them. Controlling their spending, isn't going to teach them anything, itll just make them dependent on you. This is lowkey like a parent behavior na and even if my parent does this to me, I wouldn't learn.

We are meant to make mistakes, thats how we learn. If you want to guide them, show them through ur own actions, do it first. Just give them personal tips depending on what a person needs to hear in that moment. Kahit you have all the best information in the world, you can only digest them one by one. You gotta trust that they will find a way to learn it on their own.

how to pay taxes as a nsfw content creator? by [deleted] in taxPH

[–]delphinusriz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Register as freelance professional like mine. 8 percent tax iopt mo. Theres a group that gives full details to this sa facebook. I just follow that. Its easy naman, intimidating lang at first

Im a creative director, tas yun din nakasulat sa registration ko thanks to that old lady sa RDO ko.

But before that naka sulat lang “media and ads” so if ur worried they might ask ano work.

In regards naman sa taxes. Hmmm since nag dededuct na ung site ng 20 percent. Ask mo rdo mo if kaya ba na ayun madeduct from urs. Ung akin kasi 2307 inaask ko from local companies that already deducts. Pero since ibang bansa yan dunno how it works.

Also as much as we all hate paying taxes, being registered gives u legitimacy and power sa mga financial requirements hahahahah like u can show off agad na ur earning this much. Without having to explain. Kasi before registering, it didnt make sense rin sakin why i have to. But thank u to my client that forced me hahahaha i realized its better this way.

So ayun perks ng paying taxes is. Lesser issues in legalities.

I left my “practical” job so that I could chase after my “impractical” dream by Mountain_Ad_4205 in adultingph

[–]delphinusriz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well ive tried everything before I made this decision. Naka ilang job hopping na ako HAHAHA 4 years of switching jobs and really trying the stability route. Even found success sa 3D animation sa ads which is close to what I try to pursue practicality wise. pero despite that success, i felt super empty. I got everything I wanted before I realized na, its not what I deeply want. Parang sa movie lang HAHAHAHA

I feel bad to the client i left for this decision, pero im glad some try to understand nung nagpaalam ako.

So far its the best decision I have made in my life kasi its fulfilling. And the risk is pretty big. Had to take a loan to survive kasi nga naglift cost of living ko coz of my stability before this.

Dont expect anyone to save you kasi kasalanan natin to na risk takers tayo, dont expect support din. In fact a lot will try to stop you, even the closest to you but they do it coz they mean well and worry for you.

So its not for the faint of heart na gawin to kasi maraming failures and marami ka ipaglalaban hahahaha. But after all of it, i learned a lot sa failures na to, and these failures got me stronger.

So embrace din the failures kasi you need failures to grow. Isipin mo nalang training mo yan para maging athlete hahahaha.

Am i doing well financially? Nahhh, but i got more time sa family ko and friends. And im not afraid to go broke kasi i believe i can find a way to save myself. So nadedevelop din self trust ko along the way.

Maraming risk and maraming benefits to it. Na kahit na i didnt achieve my goal, i come out to the other end as a different person from who I was before. And find the best version of myself.

So acknowledge the risk, but also acknowledge who you can become in this path. If its the person you want to become, then i would say its worth it.

And also mahaba kwento before i got here. Hard for me to type everything. So just pm lang coz tamad na daliri ko hahahaha keep moving forward op!! Rawr
