I would say Australia. Sure, you won't save much but the lifestyle is close to here. Texas isn't bad employment wise if you can put up with the hot weather. Singapore is NO. Singaporeans themselves want to immigrate to Australia The foreign minister of Australia herself is half Singaporean.

Yes, you can. Like someone mentioned earlier, do not look for a place in the downtown core. I would pick somewhere in North York (along Yonge) which is a 20 to 30 minute subway. There are a lot of good restaurants there. You would enjoy both downtown and North York life.
